We booked millenieum broadway hotel in new york city..The site advertised a continental breakfastWe always confirm with the hotel , prior to our departure, that the reservation was madeHowever, the hotel said that our reservation, made by book it did not include the continental breakfastWhen we complained to book itthey said that was not including the breakfast, although their site advertised thisThe staff and their manager was quite rude and did not feel that they were at faultI also received my bill in the mail and beware of the exchange ( for Canadian travelers)Way more than we thought..I suggest booking through another agency...NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I booked an all inclusive vacation to Secrets The Vine in Cancun Mexico through Book-It At the time I made the reservation, Bowas offering a vary attractive price at Secrets The Vine, which from my research, was a highly rated resort in the Cancun hotel zone I had no problems with the reservation process and the pricing was as described in the advertising on the Bosite I would not have any issues using Boagain and would have no problem recommending the site to others

Unfortunately I have had the opportunity to experience Bookit.com in a not so flattering manner I realize as a third-party broker to a host of resort properties they are tasked with the advertisement and booking of vacations, however being this intermediary Bookit.com must take the lead in making things right with customers when things go haywire In my case I booked a trip to a Royalton resort that opened up in Cancun and encountered a host of issues however Bookit was slow to resolve and provide reasonable concessions I find the lack of their responsiveness to be a horrible business practice model I would urge any and every one to consider another like business to book flights/vacations with in order to have a more pleasurable experience

My experience with bookit has been absolutely horrible! They are completely unprofessional and put you on hold for (at least) a half hour at a time because they have no clue what they're doing! They charged my card times and it took over hours to speak with a manager to fix it! month prior to the trip our flights were changed with hour layovers to and from our destination! Defeats the purpose of a vacation! Would not recommend to anyone ever unless you like wasting your time and money!

I used Bookit.com for first time and it was an horrible experience booking through Bookit.comThey charge you extra money if you make a call to report an error!!!!!!! They say that fee will be waived and still charge you moneyThe worst website to book any travel or hotelsI have been using expedia, orbitz, priceline etc for long time and never had any problemthis was the only time I used bookit and will never use it again!!!!!

We booked a trip with Bookit.com to the BahamasEverything was fine until we tried to check into the hotelWe were told we would have to speak to the manager before we could check inThe manager informed us that Bookit had not payed for our room,and we would have to give the hotel our credit card infoWe then tried to call Bookit,but we were put on hold for minutes,then hung up onWe went through this scenario at least timesWhen we finally got to talked to someone they said they were having computer problems,but they would send our payment by tomorrowThis ruined our first days of vacationWho wants to spend hours on the phone trying to talk to someone when you should be relaxing? We were afraid that we were going to have to pay for our room twiceBookit did finally pay for our room the next dayBut when we got a ride to the airport another couple riding with us said they used Bookit,and they still had not payed for their roomI am never going to use Bookit again!

I travel often, and bookit.com was BY FAR THE WORST experience I have ever had trying to book a tripI typically book through some of the better-known travel sites, but bookit had a discount promotion going on for my trip type so I gave it a tryI was trying to book a flight plus hotel package trip for vacation, and when I submitted the payment and order, an error message came back saying that the flight was booked but there was an error with the hotel and that part was not bookedIt provided a number to callI called immediately The person I talked to on the phone said that it looks like neither the flight or hotel was booked somehow, even though I was looking at a message from bookit.com saying the flight was booked and there was an error with the hotel part of the bookingI went to go book it again on the website while on the phone and received another error, then I couldn't find the same flight onlineThe person on the phone said the flight was available, and she can book me on the same trip, but the pricing she was receiving was about $more than the same exact trip I submitted payment for a few minutes prior when it allegedly partially booked and then didn'tI was annoyed, but wanted the experience to be over with so I told her to book itI wish it ended there but it didn't She quoted me the new total (around $2800), and asked permission to chargeThen, when she submitted, she said that she got a different errorSomehow the flight was booked but not the hotel on this new reservationWhen she went to go process the hotel reservation again, she said that the cost was actually going to be more expensive, AGAIN, than the amount she just quoted me when asking permission to charge me for the tripThe person on the phone said that there was nothing she could do about it and that it is what it isI was trying to book specific flight and hotel because I am flying out with another person that booked separately, so I just paid itThe trip that I originally booked through their website at about $ended up costing me about $insteadThanks bookit.comNo one I know will ever use your site again

Make sure you take pictures of the names you put on your booking because there is no going back on your part if they make a mistake on theirs!! I will be posting on YouTube the recording of a call on July X XXXX with an agent and Jonathon [redacted] one of the Assistant Customer Service ManagersI can't imagine any company wanting someone like him representing themI've never in years of traveling have had to deal with anyone this unprofessional the last thing he should be doing for a living is "Customer Service" between all the ridiculous/contradicting emails from him and the other agents and one supervisor I had the misfortune of having to deal with there is so much more that has happened I'm in SHOCK and we haven't even left for our Anniversary trip (in tears and worried instead of excited and looking forward to it) HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have so many problems with this company, it would take to long explain all the issuesFirst, they charge misc fees that aren't explained to youI booked a trip last February online, but never received confirmation so I called the company the next morning to bookUnfortunately, I had to cancel the trip due to moving across countryThe representative never told me I had of the same trips booked, and just canceled oneThen day before the canceled trip I received an email with a trip reminder!!! I called the company to inquire and yes you have a trip booked!!??? So I was out several thousand dollars at this timeNever got the money back for the flights or nights at the hotel which was about $per nightUnbelievable, I am now trying to redeem some flight credit and having trouble with that

Misleading prices Selected checked in luggage, assumed it was included in price Nope They don't reserve seat selections on the flights, so that's another charge you have to pay, and you have to go to the airlines page to select seats I can't imagine the number of people who show up at the airport and can't sit together because they never paid extra for seatsNever seen that before in an online agency Every single trip we looked at to our particular hotel included the daily activity fee Not Bookit!!! Smacking myself over the head for using this siteCould have done the trip MUCH cheaper And wait until you see how "friendly" their customer service is hahahaha

We paid in full for our trip to Mexico We arrived at our hotel after hours of traveling to find that Bookit had not paid the hotel We had to repay the hotel the full amount We are still fighting Bookit to be reimbursed for the amount we paid the hotel It has been almost days since we returned from our trip and Bookit continues to tell us they are "working on it" Don't use Bookit unless you want to pay double for your trip

This is a site for booking vacations online, one of many sites out there that consumers can choose from, and one that was a big hassle in my experience

I just wanted to say that, even tho this site seems to offer the best deals out of most other places for their vacation packages, however, I have had some issues with some of their repsbeing misleading and not all being on the same page as each other!! I had a booking I made this morning for a vacation package, but then decided I needed to cancel it for FULL REFUND due to other deals and a different airline company with better times for me! I spoke to this one repthis morning named, Barrett and I was completely turned off by him for the fact that he said that if I canceled my reservation, I would'nt be receiving a refund at all, and that we already hit penalty was his wording too, even tho I had only booked this like a few hours prior and wanting to double check to make sure my booking was canceled cause it still isn't showing up on my end yet that it has been per my request!! I don't know if this guy I spoke too, is new and doesn't know the real cancellation policy for full refund, so I had to call again to verify that I'm entitled to my refund I paid for, for this booking and the lady Venessa apologized when I told her about my other experience with Barrett and says I should be getting the full credit back now I hope!! I've had some other issues with this company before with some reps not being that great and theirs been times I've gotten pretty nice and knowledgeable reps too, but it doesn't seem to happen as often as it should!! I been a bookit.com customer for years now and I'm sort of on the fence of going thru someone else at this point when planning a trip, the one who seems to care for their valued customers and the ones who will actually provide us with what we need more too!! I will never use this site again, I will also inform people how this company conducts very bad businessI booked a room on April 7, and was needing to cancelWhen I called the telephone number the customer service stated, "It will cost $to cancel over the phone but it's free if you do it online"So after logging in I found out it's not free, it's $to cancel online, plus it states, "If canceled on or after Apr 04, 2014, Eastern Time, Lose Nights Room & Tax and $19.95"How can this be if I booked the room on April This is why I wouldn't recommend this site to anyoneIt's very misleadingThe sales repstated, " If I would have try to cancel the reservations minafter booking, it would have been the same outcome"
