We have spoken to Mr [redacted] regarding the complaint and due to some mis understanding and confusion there was an issue with the checks We are sending him a certified check to be sure there are no further issuesWe went above and beyond to help him refinance his loan and at the end of the transaction he did not want to pay the title fees that were known throughout the entire process We made the business decision to refund him all of his title fees rather than not completing the refinance that we along with our lender and title company had worked so long on This was not required but we wanted to make sure our customer was satisfied Please let me know if there is anything else you need regarding this complaint

All of our calling lists are scrubbed against the national do not call list which is protocolI have attached documentation showing
that this phone number is not registered with the do not call list which is why she is getting repeated calls from a number of brokers I would thinkI have also attached a copy of an internal document we have distributed to all of our employees requesting her not to be calledThis will take care of our current lists but she has a chance of being called by another broker at any time unless she enrolls on the do not call listIf she needs assistance enrolling I would be glad to help herplease let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist

it is difficult to respond to this because this window is covering the business responseThe fact is that they sent me company checks and both of them bounced because of Non Sufficient FundsThe "accountant" Melissa called me once to offer a cashiers check but I told her I had just received the second company check and I assumed it would be goodAs stated before the second check also bouncedAs stated in the original complaint the $additional fee was disclosed at the end of the refinance because the loan processor had assumed that I lived in a "Single Family Residence" when in fact, I live in a duplex which is clearly disclosed on the property profile and in Google and real estate websitesEC Financial had made many mistakes repeatedly and failed to correct them and that is why the final estimate of "cost to refinance" was wrongWhen the Title Company officer showed up to have me sign the loan docs, she informed me that they would only accept a cashiers check and that was the last strawIt was 9pm and no way to get a cashiers checkThere is no name on the EC Financial response to this complaintAgain typical EC Financial proceduresI also suspect that the loan agent James C*** is not licensed to do loans in California as he is the only one I spoke to during my whole refinance process yet his name never appears on any of my loan papersTo prove that I have not been paid ask EC Financial for a canceled check showing payment to meI have repeatedly called Melissa and she no longer returns my callsI did speak with James C*** several times and he said he would look into the matter but it remains to be unpaid
