I am rejecting this response because: My vehicle doors were scratched by their technicians, my vehicle was parked next to their truck and they were just arriving at my home, so they were pulling siding off of the truck while I was thereAnd they left before I did, when I found three scratches 2nd of all, the house would not have passed inspection when I bought it if siding was not properly installed, so I don't believe there were discrepancies before they came 3rdly, if they were highly qualified technicians, it wouldn't have taken them times to correct the issues and still not cut the corners around the windows properly They are still not right, but I didn't complain anymore because I don't want them back at my house, since they scratched my car and won't own up to it All the marks were white, not sure where they are getting black marks from as I didn't circle black marksMy car is silver and the scratches look like the edges of the siding that could have easily scratched my doors when taking them off of the truck from where both vehicles were parked

Revdex.com serving Central North CarolinaResponse to complaint ID ***September 19, 2017To whom it may concern, I am writing in response to complaint ID *** received by our office September 15, I will attempt to address each point noted by our customer in detail
When our customer initially contracted for services with our company we sent a Measure/Service technician to her home to take additional measurements and pictures of the intended projectWe manufacture and install custom windows and doors so we take pictures to ensure that we are prepared for potential construction issuesAt that time, we noted the advanced age and questionable condition of the vinyl siding on the house and realized we would have to use extreme care in replacing the windows to avoid any additional vinyl siding damage if possibleIt is not possible to replace windows without some disturbance to the adjacent sidingWe knew that there would be a possibility, given the age and condition of the siding, that some siding repair might be necessaryThere were areas noted and photographed at the measure where the siding was bowed and crackedThis indicated that the vinyl siding would be brittle and difficult to prevent from further damagePlease see attached photographsUnfortunately, as feared, the vinyl siding proved to be very fragile and some breakage did result during the installationWe did request to delay those repairs due to the cold temperaturesCold weather renders already decaying vinyl siding nearly untouchable without tremendous breakageThe customer states that her original window installer was best qualified to make these repairsI do not know why she believes that, but it is untrueWe sent the most qualified technicians for the taskIt did require more than one visitAfter the first visit the customer stated that there were problem areas on the vinyl siding we had not addressed or were newly createdWhen we returned we saw that her areas of concern were not created by our installation process or repairs, rather they had existed prior to our work as noted in the pre-installation photographsIt is our foremost goal to make our customers happy and leave their homes in better condition than before our work beganIn the interest of customer satisfaction, we repaired these areas although the issues were not of our makingThey were not our responsibility, but we had the siding and trained technicians available and it seemed liked the customer-oriented thing to doIn all, we visited her home on three occasions to work on the sidingFor the most part, she was not there during the repairsShe did come by on a couple of occasions and parked on the streetOn one occasion, she did park next to our truck but our technicians did not go to the truck while she was parked there They were working elsewhere around the exterior of the houseShe left the house before themThis was on July 19thOn August 2nd, the customer called to report that we had scratched her carWe asked her to forward pictures of the damage and, upon receipt August 21st, interviewed the technicians independent of one another to review the allegationThe images show multiple horizontal scratches, some black, others white but definitely made with something sharpNeither a truck door nor siding could have produced these marksIncidentally, our trucks are large and tallThe doors could not have made contact with her car in these areas Both technicians stated unequivocally that at no point did they nor any of their tools nor materials come into contact with the customer’s vehicleBoth gentleman have worked with our company for years and we have never had any reason to question their abilities or truthfulnessAt this point, I feel it is important to note our company policy regarding incidental damage at a customer’s homeWe acknowledge that no one is perfect and accidents can happenOur personnel are never reprimanded for something like thisIn fact, we require that, should an incident occur, it is reported immediately so that the customer care team has an opportunity to reach out to the customer to effect a resolutionWe consider it the cost of doing business and believe that our company integrity is more important than moneyThere would be absolutely no reason for our employees to lieIn short, we did not damage the customer’s homeAt our own expense, we repaired pre-existing vinyl siding issues that were outside of the scope of our work and left the siding in better condition than we found itWe also do not believe that we in any way caused any damage to her vehicleI deeply regret that she believes that we didPerhaps someone else unknown to her, created this damage between our visit on July 19th and her report to us on August 2ndWe do not believe that any reparations are due this customer Sincerely, Angela F* Renewal by Andersen of Central North Carolina

Customer: [redacted]ID# [redacted] To whom it may concern, After receiving the complaint notification from your office we contacted Mr. [redacted] regarding his concerns with his new windows. Subsequently, our representative met with him at his home on July 10, 2017.In...

this meeting we were able to discern that his unhappiness was related to the way the sashes sit in the window frame. The windows function properly, but Mr. [redacted] is not pleased with the appearance. We believe that making an adjustment to the installation of the windows will resolve this concern and result in an appearance that Mr. [redacted] will find more pleasing. We have arranged with Mr. [redacted] to return the residence on July 20, 2017 to service the windows and will do everything in our power to ensure his satisfaction with the appearance.  Sincerely, Angela F[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/10/07) */
We do not own nor do we maintain a mailing list. When we elect to send an advertisement, the printing house contacts a reputable national list broker and the broker provides a data file to the printer directly. We have no access to said list. We...

DO maintain an internal list of consumers that have requested not to receive mailings. We provide this list to the broker in an effort to make sure that if the names on our list are on their list that they will be removed prior to our use of the data. This is generally very effective. We have no record of ever having any contact with Ms. [redacted] and no request that we not mail to her address. We are adding her name to our internal do not mail list. The postal service is already in possession of our October mailing and I have no way of stopping or amending it. There is a possibility that she may receive one more postcard. If so, I apologize in advance for any distress this may cause. May I suggest that the most effective way to make sure that Ms. [redacted]'s name is removed from all national lists would be to go to the National Do Not Mail List and request to be added. To address Ms. [redacted]'s required resolution specifically please note that we have added her name to our do not mail list. Also, we only maintain a list of our customers that have reached out to us and we never share our customer's information in any fashion with any entity. As Ms. [redacted] is not our customer we will only have her name on our Do Not Mail List and it is only shared with national list brokers for the purpose of making sure we do not solicit her.
We always seek to maintain a positive relationship with all consumers and if I may be of further assistance please feel free to contact me.
