I have had to file complaints on companies in the past for sub-par service but this company I feel I need to praise I had a major repair with my Dodge Ram Pickup and I was very nervous My clutch went out in it and I knew it would be an expensive and lengthy repair
The guys at Boomer Auto were professional and quick to respond on what needed to be done I told them the symptoms then they had their mechanics take a look It turned it that it was indeed the clutch that was going out which is a wear item that eventually goes out on every standard transmission automobile I had to replace the clutch on my previous truck a Ford Ranger
When I got the truck back I drove it Friday night and Saturday then Monday morning I noticed some friction again when I would step on the clutch I called Boomer and they towed it back in to diagnose the problem Turned out there was a faulty throwout bearing in the clutch kit they installed They replaced the throwout bearing which corrected the problem at no additional cost to me They even covered the second tow back to their shop
Then I noticed when I was shifting there was a lot of play in the stick I called them again then set an appointment to take it back in They discovered that the plastic bushings on the shift lever were broken off It turns out that Dodge discontinued this product and I can see why Who manufactures plastic bushings on a metal shifter? Anyway since they couldn't order the part they were able to manufacture some other bearings for me to take the play out of the shifter Now it shifts great
My Dodge is an old truck I know but it is extremely important to me as it was the last place I saw my Mom alive The staff at Boomer Auto Repair were professional, knowledgeable, and straight forward They diagnosed the problems and advised me on the best course of action before they proceeded I would definitely recommend them if you have any mechanical problems in the Claremore area The prices were reasonable and the work was completed within a reasonable time frame

I took my truck to them to get a quote on getting front-end work done and also need to see what was wrong with motor issue like it's cutting out..so u told them check it out and call me on price.say after Lee the mechanic called and said the module was wrong and distribtor had pimch wires and front end was shot...I asked how.much to fixHe said around $give or takeI said ok fix it...want up there day after that after work and they had it all pulled apart and putting new parts on Lee and Larry the owner was standing there and Lee said I was right a bout $I said ok...Lee talked to me about the motor I had regulated a few months ago and he saids he thinks they put wrong cam shaft in I asked how much will that cost he said around $I said I gotta hold of on that for awhile cuz I'm spending $or so on this front end ....well I went on 5/24/to pick up truck as soon as I got out of car Lee told his other workers get ready for cpr I walked in and the bill was for $
