I am so sorry to hear of this. Customer satisfaction is of upmost importance to us. We do our best to ensure every move is handled with care; however, occasionally, accidents do happen. It is not our intent to not answer your calls, and it surely was
not our intent to not follow through with our commitment to reimburse you. Clearly this was overlooked in accounting, and we mailed the check today. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Sincerely,

First and foremost:
1) we were assured that delivery would be on the 9th and accordingly we made our flight and booked service elevator after being assured of the delivery date if phones are recorded check them plc check the calls!! And based on this I only kept prescription medications of my wife only till the 11th of july
2) pickup was June 28th not 29th this shows that their dates are all messed up
3) they denied having the inventory of the cargo and said they lost it during their first call of postponing it on the 8th of July morning!!! And they said this was the reason of the delayso there is something not kosher here!!
When we said we can send u copies the person in charge *** spoke in foul language and hung up on my face and I have an email sent from her later to apologize..so they are not saying the truth again
4) on the 14th they called and said they found the documents finally and the cargo is leaving Houston in the evening MAYBE ARRIVING 19TH OR 20TH!!! going thru the agony of finding a place to sleep with a sick wife and girls!!!
5) the driver calling to threaten me if I don't have the balance in cash I won't receive my stuff
6) having to rent a truck dollars to load my stuff at a parking lot in a mall!!! Because the driver truck won't get into the complex and losing a box having dish network receivers dollars after the driver saying if u won't take your cargo I'll throw it in a warehouse u go get it from there
7) leaving us with damaged unassembled furniture that we had to hire people to reassemble the furniture or what was left of it because the mover just left without completing the job!!!!
Please note all of the above because those people caused a lot of damage to us

Please note that the
assigned objective is to expedite all shipments by eliminating the costly
warehousing and storage charges. First and foremost, our main goal is to
provide you timely delivery and the excellence of service you deserve. However,
transit time is not guaranteed.
At the time of your pick up or at the time of reservation we
will ask you to provide the earliest date you will have access to your delivery
location.
 The date is not an
appointment; it only gives the Dispatch the tools to work with for planning
your delivery below is our delivery schedule we will always do our best to meet
your requested date however  In accordance to
the law, unless the carriers has provided you an affirmative guarantee on
contract that the shipment would be delivered according to a particular
schedule, on a specified date , or via 
straight delivery, the  date of
delivery is  as per our consolidation
schedule listed on the order for service you signed. Copy set below
 
0-500 miles ………………….0-7  business days501-1000 miles…………….. 0-14 business days1001-3300 miles…………….3-21 business days
Above   schedule is effective from the earliest date
customer is ready for final delivery.Upon pick-up you will provide us with an
"earliest delivery date" we will be in the process of scheduling the
arrival from the earliest delivery date provided.
The carrier is well within the
delivery schedule of your shipment
Your pick up date was
June 29th earliest delivery
date indicated and signed by customer is July  9th - delivery date was July 19th
Shipment was transported
over 1500 miles TX to PA and the delivery deadline as per contract 21 business days
would have been Aug 5, 2014. Actual Delivery date was July 19th , 2014
 At   Major
Van Lines we take pride in ensuring our customer's satisfaction.
Unfortunately customer  did not reserve a
direct delivery , rate and contract were constructed based on consolidation – a
shared trailer with a flexible delivery
