I purchased an foot Golden West Keystone pool table with ping pong conversion at The Pool People store in Rhinelander, WI on 5-11- On 5-31-the unit was delivered and assembled at my home in Crandon, WI During the assembly of the pool table a corner piece was damaged by a mounting bolt breaking thru the piece The person assembling noted the issue and stated that a new corner piece would be ordered and replaced in short order Well, it is approaching 1/ months and nothing has happened, nor any further word from the company I have made separate trips to the Rhinelander store to find out what is going on to no availPhones calls were made to someone in Schofield but still no actionI regret paying for the unit in full up front, and now am questioning in my mind I made a good decision to purchase anything from the Pool PeopleAnother thing, I also had to make a trip to the store to pickup the que sticks because they were not delivered initiallyWhy can't the staff
Sales person ordered wrong parts, took pool table apart to give them the right parts to order, then they never showed up to the appointment nor did they call to inform me Next they said they needed to order more parts and that it would be just a little longer That was over weeks ago I had to call again to get an update They told me it would be months Worst part is they laughed about it the whole time they told me this and now I have a partial pool table I can't useTheir service sucks especially their communication skills Wanna get bent over, visit pool people in schofield
I have had the best experience with pool peopleI bought a robotic pool cleaner from them which had a manufacture warrantyIt stopped working in monthsThe manufacture had the poorest warranty everWanted to send me back a dirty, old, used, model they no longer sellClyde from pool people stepped in and tried to work with the manufacturer on my behalf with no luckSo pool people replaced my cleaner on their own and took the lossPool people staff are very knowledgeable and pride themselves on good customer service
