I am David B***, co-owner of Boone & Sons JewelersI personally assisted *** *** when she came back in November 10th with her watchUsually I just hand watches for repair (batteries) to our watch maker, but on this occasion stayed with him when he checked the watch outAnd immediately after opening noticed the watch had no battery or small part to hold the battery in, which we were not at fault in any wayI will gladly reimburse *** *** the $she paid elsewhere, but do not feel an apology is warranted hereIf her watch battery was intact but not working, I would have replaced it for no chargeThe watch was brought in without a battery, which again I personally witnessed when the watch was openedI am regretful this happened, but the problem was definitely not because of Boone & SonsWe replace an average of batteries per day and thankfully have not a problem until nowOur actions will not change because of this Sincerely,
