On January 5, we sold a Audi Ato *** *** ***, the delivery driver picked up the vehicle that nightAfter *** drove the vehicle for about miles to Columbia, MO, he called us the next day to inform us about the check engine light which occurred in his possession
while drivingWe told *** that he could take the vehicle to any automotive shop to diagnose the check engine light*** took the vehicle to *** *** AutomotiveThe mechanic from *** *** Automotive called us regarding the diagnoses on the vehicleHe told us the vehicle needed a crank sensor, and the timing belt needed to be adjustedIn order to adjust the timing belt, almost half of the motor needed to be taken apartHe quoted *** in the amount of $We agreed to pay the invoice of the repairs and we informed *** *** via email that after *** *** Automotive is done with the vehicle, Boost Auto Sales is not responsible for any further repairsAfter the repairs were completed, we received a phone call from the mechanic who worked on the vehicle, he told us the vehicle was fixed and there’s no other issue after over viewing the entire carWe received a phone call on January 7th from *** *** stating the vehicle does not runWe told *** to take the car back to *** *** Automotive since they were the last to perform the repairs on the vehicleThe main tech called us, told us that the motor is blownWe asked them what has caused that to happen, and their response was, it has to do with excessive acceleration at high RPM from the person who drove it last. We informed *** *** to discuss this matter with their driver (*** ***) and with *** *** Automotive since we have nothing to do with the vehicle after the repairs were madeAfter multiple threats and phone calls from *** ***’s spouse, we agreed to replace the motor by our own technicianAll the labor and parts would be covered on Boost Auto Sales from our own technician*** ***’s spouse has refused our services, and kindness to help, although it was not our faultSince *** *** and her spouse refused our services, we recommend that they go back to *** *** Automotive to see what they can do
