We hired Bora & Co Construction to remodel the entire interior of our house. Including kitchen, bathrooms, demolishing partial walls to open up space, flooring, stairway railings, and more. We were looking to remodel our kitchen at an affordable rate but upper end quality Cornel and his team really came through for us The team was very knowledgeable and professional Our kitchen remodel came out AMAZING!!!

In August of we awoke to a flooded kitchen and basement due to a failed refrigerator ice machine, resulting in an unplanned, full kitchen remodel
This project was our first major remodel, and we had very little experience working with contractorsWe interviewed contractor and construction companies and ultimately selected Bora and Co Construction
Why? Because Corneliu (owner and project manager at Bora and Co) was patient, empathetic, and listened to our needs, taking the extra time to explain aspects of the project and estimate we didn't understandBora and Co was the only contractor we interviewed that actually took the time to draft up drawings for free, and provide a detailed, line-item estimate of our remodeling project
Once the project began, Bora and Co were professional, on-time, and most important to us, communicated what work was done at the end of the day, and what work would be attempted for the following dayWe were in constant communication with Corneliu and his team, and I felt extremely comfortable with every step of the project
Our kitchen remodel was relatively simple and straight forward, but change orders were handled verbally and efficientlyIn the end, final cost came in nicely under the original estimated budgetIn terms of timing, Corneliu and his team finished one day after the promised completion date, which was amazing

We are very happy with the kitchen remodel done by BoraIt took them about weeks to completely take out and replace the flooring, cabinets, counter top and back splash, appliancesWe were particularly appreciative of the advice we got on flooring: a product that looks like hardwood/laminate but is vinyl so will stand up to kitchen useThe crew was skillfulThey re-configured the pantry cabinet, doing great carpentry work to fit it around a chimney flueAt the end Bora honored a few special requests, small things but beyond the scope of the agreement: an extra pantry shelf (again, cut to fit), dimmer switch on the ceiling lights, panels to cover some undersides of cabinetsA great project!
