Great school! A good friend of mine went here and advised me to go to this school. Tom, Don, and Blair are excellent teachers with years of experience. Very patient and thorough. I graduated today and passed the first time on my test. Also this school is flexible with your schedule as they offer weekend and weekdays of training. I was even able to work full time and complete the course in a reasonable amount of time. This school is also female friendly, which not many other schools that I have looked into are. If you are considering pursuing a career which acquires you to get your [redacted], this is the school to go to.

Review: I started achool with them I belive in September of 2014 I went for only a couple weekends and seen its basically a scam they dont teach you anything other then the first day, you teach your self or other students teach each other ao I decided I did not want to go anymore after already paying $900 , I figured it was my lost but I couldnt see my self paying another 1500 for the school since it was moreless a scam just to get your money they lied to me and said is was 160hr course when really its alot longer due to the fact they do not take you on the road till after 160hrs so moreless your putting in atleast 200hrs , so when I dropped out I talked to kiki and she said they will keep the 900 and that will be it but then january 8th she contacted me asking me if I was dropping out but me and her already talked about this and I said yes we already discussed this she said ok.... then January 9th I had an unauthorized debit out of my bank account of $164 I have already filed this with my bank for them to refund my money and stop payments if they try again , so what I want is for the school to leave me alone and not be liable for any money they may be trying to get from me aince I have not attended since October! I am debating weather or not to file police chargers for that unauthorized debit , please help me and let me know what to do thank youDesired Settlement: I lose my $900 I am ok with but I am not paying another penny .. they contact me 3months after the last time I was there , plus steal money out of my account

Review: I became a student at [redacted] of [redacted] on or about 7/6/15, which was my first official classroom attendance. During this time, to date 8/4/15, I have witnessed the unethical treatment of different classes of students, (i.e. corporate account students receive far more attention and are allotted safer equipment than private pay students, and the corporate accounts pay less tuition cost). I have witnessed testing vehicles being used for [redacted] testing that are not [redacted] compliant. On one occasion, the instructor had to take a truck from the class because the truck he had taken to [redacted] for testing failed the Air Break Test. How is it that an instructor delivered the test vehicle without first preforming a proper Pre-Trip and Air Break Test of the vehicle? Just another sign that we are not being taught to be safe drivers with the UNSAFE equipment we're giving by [redacted].

Currently [redacted] is in a total breach of contract due to their lack of safe and or available equipment. For a total of 20 students, today, 8/4/15, there was only 2 trucks available for maneuver training purposes. Neither of which is safe for any driver, professional or student, to operate. There is only "ONE" semi-safe truck available for on the road training, and it was being used at the [redacted] for testing. While this truck is semi-safe, it still does not comply with Pre-Trip requirements, (i.e. there is no catwalk present and the windshield washer bottle is broken). This is just an example of simple items that [redacted] should have repaired, as these items are very minimal in cost. I, as well as other students, are scheduled for [redacted] testing within the next two weeks and have yet to receive any on the road training. As well, I am completely unable to "teach myself" the Air Break Test procedures due to the faulty equipment made available for my training by [redacted].

I have spoken with my instructors about my issues, but there is nothing they can do on their end.Desired Settlement: Due to the breach of contract by [redacted] to provide safe and adequate training tools, I would certainly request that a reasonable percentage of my tuition be refunded. Having said that, any reasonable percentage should be based solely on the training and testing hours I receive while using any [redacted] compliant equipment.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution doesn't not begin to address my equipment safety concerns. Therefore, I still remain unsatisfied with the unsafe equipment provided for training and testing purposes. While I did test and pass my CDL-A, DE DMV safe handling exam, on 8/18/15, the vehicle provided to me by [redacted] did not pass the safety check list. One of the major faults with the vehicle, I was provided for testing, was noted during my In Cab Pre-trip. While testing my City Horn of the vehicle, I was very frustrated and concerned to find the horn was not operational. As well, I lost points due to no washer fluid in the Windshield Washer Reservoir bottle.

Review: They advertised getting a cdl in 4-6 weeks, it's been that long just to schedule a road test and the wait time is approximately 3-4 weeks. I'm in the national guard and was told that I could use my gi bill to pay for schooling, it's been a constant struggle to get them to do what needs to be done for me to receive my entitlement refund from the VA. The school is very prettily managed, understaffed in the yard and those who work in the office are rude and unhelpful. The whole experience has been seriously stressful for myself and my fiancee.Desired Settlement: In addition to the refund of my tuition, I want the school to pay for emotional damaged, if possible.

Review: I had previously issued a complaint agains this business. Once they received the complaint from the Revdex.com, I was called in and we settled our issue. However, within a week, I was asked by them to end my education at their school, and the wanted to refund me all the money I had paid. However, I was told I could not do myroad test with the school. SO, I had to pay an additional $375 to another school just to do my road test. They issued a check for the full refund of the monies paid to them.Desired Settlement: I am simply requesting a certificate from the company with my studies and drie time certificate. Without this, I cannot even apply for jobs, which is why I commenced my drivers schooling with them. The school I did my drivers test with will give me the certificate for the road test, however employers in the Logistics industry need the certificate for hours completed from the school I did the actual class time and drive time with.

Response:

The school will issue [redacted] an attendance summary. The attendance summary will show hours attended and will state [redacted] did not graduate from the school. I will have our Admissions Coordinator mail a copy of attendance summary to [redacted] residence.

Thank You

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: in addition to class hours I need all behind the wheel hours noted as well. The only reason the school is being difficult about this was the previous complaint issued. I filed this complaint because this letter was originally requested when I called several weeks ago. In order to get a response I had to file this complaint.

I had to go to a different school in order to do the actual road test, and I passed it and have been licensed since. A simple certificate will suffice, but it should not note I did not pass, when in fact I did.

Their internal employee interactions are the cause of this

Response:

Concerning [redacted] training time, the attendance summary includes total hours of classroom, yard and road training. Transportation companies are looking at total hours of training. The attendance summary I mailed to [redacted] shows his total hours of training.

The school only issues a Certificate of Completion to students actively enrolled in the school at the time of passing the CDL road test issued by DMV. [redacted] was given a full refund by the school and was enrolled at another school when he passed his CDL road test.

This response should close this matter.

Thank You

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I received the letter, but it is not on letterhead, nor does it reference their company name at all. It is simply a computer print out with hours and a single sentence stating I did not graduate

If they want to legitimately close the case, they should be professional enough to at least print it off on a piece of their letterhead and school name so that employers feel it is a legitimate accouting of hours. The hours should also note it is class and drive time.

I have never been more disappointed in a company

Regards,

Business

Response:

I will resend [redacted] the attendance summary on company letterhead. I will have a statement that the attendance summary hours include classroom, yard and road training. This is not something we do for anyone but to conclude this matter we have decided to make an exception.

Thank You
