Good Afternoon,Dear sir, On the June 8th I called R J Border international that I have problem with my Prostar Intl truckTruck was shaking while runningThey asked me to bring the truck in to their shop and next morning they diagnosed and sent us estimate of $7,to fix the truckI checked the issue and price quote with my local truck Mechanic, He was not very satisfied but there was no other waySo I signed the contract and they started working on my truckThey told me all the repair will be done by Friday June 10thOn 10th of June they called me back and said that the truck is not readyIt need more work on the Head its Head is cracked Upon this I argued them back that if it was problem of Bad Head why did you guys put parts of $7,in it ? Other thing I highlighted them that the Head was already repaired Nov, just month ago by [redacted] s [redacted] for $10K and is still under warrantyThey did not gave me any satisfactory answerOn 13th of July they gave me another estimate of $18,to fix my truckThey never bother to call the warranty shop guys saying those people are not authorized dealerIt seemed to me that they are trying to make money from me for nothingAs I tried to convince them about the facts, they told me that they knew very well what the repair is needed- need not my advise, if I do not want this repair they can remove their all the new parts and put the the old truck parts inside the truck not installed so I can tow away my truck some where else My response to them was alright, I can not tow this truck from your placeYou guys should install all the old parts in the original condition and I will drive it outThey denied to me to do so and even stopped talking with me furtherEvery time I call them they hang up on meSo now I am asking your help to solve the dispute between usThanks for your help

Good afternoon,After I received the repair receipts from the previous head repair, I sent you an email informing you that Cummins denied the warranty of the headI then asked how you would like to proceedYour response was that you did not believe what we were saying so you wanted copies of diagnostic reports, which I providedI also told you that we have the option of sending the head off to be tested by an outside vendor to verify that is was crackedThe original repair that you approved is what you are referring to when you say the "parts and labor they put in my truck for nothing." Like I explained on the phone, this repair is necessary for your truck to run properlyAlthough you had already approved the repairs, we can take the new parts off and put your old parts back onIn an effort to help you get this truck back on the road I revised the estimate, gave you a discount, and sent it to you earlier todayI attempted to call you and discuss the estimate but you stated you needed to call me backYou then sent me an email stating "Im not agree with this"At this point I am not able to move forward without some sort of direction from you. Please advise on how you would like to move forward with this unitAnd of course, if you have any questions please feel free to call meThanks

This customer's truck was towed in to our facility on 6/8/We created an initial estimate for this vehicle to get the truck running and allow our technicians to fully diagnose the issues with the vehicleThe customer approved this estimate and we completed the repairsOnce the truck was running
we were able to further diagnose and create a correction plan for this vehicleWe created an estimate for these repairs and sent it to the customerThe customer called our location multiple times asking if the repairs were completeOur service advisors informed the customer that we will not complete repairs without authorization from the customerCustomer refused to give authorization and when asked how we would be paid for this repair, the customer stated that the previous shop that worked on this vehicle would pay for itThe customer then told our service advisor not to touch the truck and that they would pick up the vehicleTruck has been pulled out of shop waiting for customer to come and pay for current billOnce bill is paid off customer will be able to take vehicle

Good morning,In regards to the initial estimate and repair, this was necessary to properly diagnose the unit. In order for us to ethically repair vehicles we must do it one step at a time so that we are not charging the customer for parts and labor that is not necessary. Once the vehicle was running, we were able to further diagnose and this is when we found the cracked headIn regards to the warranty for the previous head repair, we have reached out to *** in *** again and we are waiting on documentation on where they purchased this headWe have contacted our local Cummins dealer and they have stated that there is a possibility of parts warranty only on this head, labor will not be coveredOnce we have received an answer from Cummins on warranty for this head, we will adjust the estimate if necessary and resendIf you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me###-###-####

Good Afternoon,Dear sir,              On the June 8th I called R J Border international that I have problem with my 2010 Prostar Intl truck. Truck was shaking while running. They asked me to  bring the truck in to their shop and next morning they diagnosed and sent us estimate of $7,584.59 to fix the truck. I checked the issue and price quote with my local truck Mechanic, He was not very satisfied but there was no other way. So I signed the contract and they started working on my truck. They told me all the repair will be done by Friday June 10th. On 10th of June they called me back and said that the truck is not ready. It need more work on the Head its Head is cracked.     Upon this I argued them back that if it was problem of Bad Head why did you guys put parts of $7,584 in it ? Other thing I highlighted them that the Head was already repaired Nov, 2015 just 6 month ago by [redacted] s [redacted] for $10K and is still under warranty. They did not gave me any satisfactory answer. On 13th of July they gave me another estimate of $18,789.39 to fix my truck. They never bother to call the warranty shop guys saying those people are not authorized dealer. It seemed to me that they are trying to make money from me for nothing. As I tried to convince them about the facts, they told me that they knew very well what the repair is needed- need not my advise, if I do not want this repair they can remove their all the new parts and put the the old truck parts inside the truck not installed so I can tow away my truck some where else.  My response to them was alright, I can not tow this truck from your place. You guys should install all the old parts in the original condition and I will drive it out. They denied to me to do so and even stopped talking with me further. Every time I call them they hang up on me. So now I am asking your help to solve the dispute between us. Thanks for your help.
