I had a poor experience with Bordignon Marble and Granite Ltd. I went to their business [redacted] in Coquitlam. I had three stops to make in the area with the last one to be Bordignon Marble and Granite, since I am doing house renovations. The first two nearby businesses had their parking lots full due to a huge one day sale at one of them. So, I decided to park at my last stop which was Bordignon's business. When I was ready to return to Bordignon's business, I discovered that my truck, and only my vehicle, had been blocked by a forklift parked only a few centimeters perpindicular to my truck's bumper. I was in a designated customer parking stall. There were other vacant stalls and just a few other cars in the business' parking lot. When I went into the business, I noticed there were a few staff that had been crowded by the window watching me. The receptionist proceeded to lecture me about how I shouldn't have parked in their business lot, not even asking if I was a customer. It was confirmed that I had been purposefully blocked. I told the receptionist that there were no reserved signs or other signage to indicate that I wasn't welcome to park as a customer there. She said I should just know better. She didn't appear to be listening to me, just determined to lecture. I told her I wanted access to my truck so I could leave and that I would not be a customer there now or in the future, under the circumstances. No one came to move the fork lift and I was stuck there. I said I would call the police if they continued to hold me there and the receptionist told me to go right ahead and call them. Then she said someone would come out and left me standing alone by my parked truck while she went back into the business. I waited and waited in my truck, unable to leave, until I got on the phone to call the RCMP. Then suddenly a man came out to move the fork lift. He wouldn't say anything to me, nor did he apologize. I am a five foot, two inch woman and it looked as though the staff, almost all men, decided to have fun bullying me. I have never had such a poor experience at a business before.
