As we understand the customer’s concern with his badly worn front tires, when we pointed them out to him, we feel the steel belt material showing on the inside of both front tires was more a result of type of driving, poor driving surfaces, and wheel alignmentWhile more frequent tire rotation may have prolonged tread life in general, it would not have prevented a condition found most often caused by aggressive driving or roads with abrough surfacesThis vehicle was purchased used by the customer and we had no record of any past tire rotationsThat said in an effort to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction we agreed to match any price found on the replacement of tires matched to the original equipmentCustomer stated he found them for $a price across the street and that he was purchasing them thereI advised him if he bought new tires, which was needed, I would pay for and he needed to just bring the receiptWith regards to the customers prior service, the only request documented and signed by the customer was an oil change serviceThe front tires at that time were the most worn and every tire manufacturer recommends the two best tires be in the rear positionsThe customer was left a voice message on June 9th after receiving your inquiry with an offer, again, to reimburse some of the expenseOur only request is to be provided a copy of the repair and or replacement receiptAs of today, the customer has made no contact to replyD [redacted] , Service Manager Borjon Auto Center

This vehicle was purchased used by the customer and we had no record of any past tire rotations. That said in an effort to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction we agreed to match any price found on the replacement of tires matched to the original equipment. Review: All I went in for was an oil change and tire rotation, but they said my tires did not need to be rotated on the work order they are checked off good(I know they forgot to rotate them or even look at them. They needed to be rotated badly). I went back for my next oil change and tire rotation I made sure they didn't forget to rotate them this time, but they said my tires were already junk. They said they will not do anything to help me because the tires have NEVER been rotated. I bought the car from these guys used, so if they have an even half decent mechanic he would of rotated the tires on the pre inspection because they have never been rotated in 14,000 miles. Now at 24,000 miles I have to buy new tires. Then they tried to sell me tires for $200 more than the guys at American Tires across the street for the EXACT same tires.Desired Settlement: Pay for the tires I had to buy, because they failed to do their job correctly.
