Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: If Mr [redacted] had handled this situation properly, and notified the police, (as he said he was going to do) my key may have been retrieved Since he did not report the thief to the authorities, and as quoted by [redacted] *** “ I’m standing by my employee”, for me it is a matter of principal and integrity nowAlso it is important for me to have this issue documented and possibly protect the next customerHe may want to cover his employee, but he is wrongas a business owner he should respect his customers and follow the law Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint ID#: [redacted] Company Name: Borla's Service station LLC Company Contact Name: [redacted] Company Contact Phone: ###-###-#### Company Contact Email: [redacted] Consumer's Name: [redacted] Revdex.com Staff Member (if you know): [redacted] [redacted] Complaint Information: Thank you for your letter.Concerning Ms [redacted] I would like to present the following, as a service station we do not stock locking lug nuts or locking lug nut keys for any vehiclesEvery locking lug nut and key is specific for that vehicleWe count on the customer providing a key when they bring in their VehicleAs Ms [redacted] stated in her complaint she has a locking lug nut and keyAny other key simply will not fit and replacement keys cannot be ordered easily,also what is the likely hood of my employe having an exact locking lug nut key that would fit her vehicle on a moments notice? The tire swap took place in our parking lot in about 10-minutesMs [redacted] watched as my employee removed the flat tire,installed the spare tire and then installed the flat tire to the rear hatch door of her SUV,the only time he was out of her view was when Ms [redacted] lifted the hood to add coolant to her vehicleAfter tightening the locking lug nut the employee handed the key directly to Ms [redacted] ,it was at that point Ms [redacted] stated "this is not mine" he then showed her several times that the key in her possession does indeed fit her lug nut,(I all so showed her the next day the lug nut dose fit her vehicle) she still refused to believe it was hersMs [redacted] stopped at our store without an appointment, my employee did his best to accommodate herThank you, [redacted] Sent on: 12/20/2:34:PM
