My name is [redacted] owner of Born into the Arts Dance CompanyThis letter is in response to a complaint by an old student of mine [redacted] ***I'm very shocked at this complaint from [redacted] I would never have expected this coming from him He has been apart of my studio for the past couple of years along with his siblings and girlfriend Sept 2014- [redacted] was apart of a group ***In the beginning of the year they auditioned and was placed in a company group ***We went through a back and forth with [redacted] groupfrom Sept-Oct when they were going to get started all the way up to October (meanwhile the rest of the groups already started in Sept)Ending of October beginning of November they finial got startedI switched their days to be into days instead of to make it easier on the mother who was driving themAnd they still couldn’t make it on time after they missed the whole first months of the classesI would sit there waiting for them to arrive at 4:but never would be there until 5,5:30, sometimes even 6pm and the class ended at 6:30pmSo when [redacted] is saying he was forced to pay tuition and not receving classes is untrueTuition is $a month for Company Groups and are required to take Hip-Hop,Technique and BalletWhich Hip Hop and tech were with me on Wednesdays and Thursdays was ballet that they choose to never show up for because it wasn’t the ballet class they wanted was on Thursdays(Ballet classes go by levels.)They were placed on Thursdays until our ballet teacher was having car problems then was also injured so then we had to move Thursday ballet to Saturdays with our ballet teacher Mrs Jen D [redacted] and they also never came to this class as wellSo when [redacted] is saying I took breaks and spent most of the time outside of the room is falseHow is that possible when they showed up with majority of the time with only mins left of class out of a hour class.I needed the little bit of time they were showing up for class to try and get the dances finishedWhen [redacted] is saying his group missed a competition which was falseEach group has two routines every competiton but since they missed first two months of classes they only had time to get one dance in for the first competiton we did which was [redacted] Later in the year they got to perform dances at [redacted] for Regionals and Nationals because we now had enough timeOnce again timing wasn’t because of meIt doesn’t make sense that someone would be at a dance studio all year and pay their tuition with no problem(because this is the first time im hearing about this) His sister [redacted] tried to have a group get disqualified at our Nationals Dance Competiton for [redacted] in August and [redacted] was very upset when it happened and since then me and him have been messaging one another from [redacted] and his words August 18,2015"Hey & thank youI miss you guys so much too & things have been crazy but I'm hoping they will get better & work has been okay they are trying to promote me soon so that's one good thingHow has everyone been? I wish I could come see you guys"This is another conversation with him August 22,2015.Omg really? I'm so excited for you guys! I just wish I could be there to see everyone & I will tell her , she misses everyone too It has been really hard being away from everyone for so long Thank you so much I was actually looking for d's number the other day & couldn't find it I'm glad I have a way to actually call now hahaHe also stated he was trying to get a car by Sept to be able to drive himself back and forth and didn’t need a ride from his motherSo my point is if he felt like this all year paid for something all year that he claims he wasn’t getting why wait til a whole year and months after the year to try and say these thingsHe also stated he wasn’t getting classes in return for his classes he is mandatory to pay but in this complaint he states his group wasn’t allowed to participate in yearly concert and they worked so hard all yearSo how did he work hard all year if he wasn’t getting the classes in return? (those are his words).And as of getting angry with him or his group aggressively not true never have I done soThe talk times he has down October 14th they have down but wasn’t even in class I have a message from Oct 2014" time 2:37pm this is what was sent to themHey guys..I really need to know by the end of today about ***...if there is going to be one by today they need to start tomorrow.if not im taking those times for privatesWe don't have anymore time to waste..so if [redacted] is still going then they have to start class tomorrow.If not that's fine but after today there will be no more times or days availableAnd also as of the DVD we have rules just like the competition it was mandatory for whole studio to get a DVD from Nationals [redacted] its was $a person and $for each additional sibling that we got the competition to bend for themUsually each dance routine is $per dance and $per picture so for the DVD PACKAGE was a great dealFor him to get his DVD PACKAGE he has to go on [redacted] to download it [redacted] and I always had a great relationship we talked about everything we both have been torn from this situationHe had no parts of the harassment the taunting and the slandering of the studio.I have many witnesses of these actions [redacted] always kept in contact with me since AugustIm very shocked at this complaint

So when [redacted] is saying he was forced to pay tuition and not receving classes is untrue. Tuition is $110 a month for Company Groups and are required to take Hip-Hop,Technique and Ballet.
