I bought two pairs of Born shoes, tried them on in my apartment, and sent them both back in the same box to return. Never wore either out of the apt, or even out of the bedroom. Born is refunding me for one pair but not both. They claim the other pair have dog hair on the soles, which indicates wear that renders them unrefundable. I have two dogs. There's always dog hair in the apt. It's not possible for one pair not to have dog hair on the bottom but for the other to have so much that they're unrefundable. I was told the warehouse has photos. I haven't seen them. And I haven't received the other pair back yet either. For all I know, someone in the warehouse tried them on and got the bottoms dirty. Or more likely, Born is willing to cheat a longtime customer to avoid refunding $65. Screw them.

Review: I RECEVED THESE SHOES AS A GIFT , ALTHOUGH I LIKE THE SHOES , THEY ARE FALLING APART AS I WALK ALMOST CAUSING ME TO FALL , THEY ARE SIZE [redacted] . THE SHOES HAVE NOT BEEN USED VERY MUCH OR MISUSED . THIS PAIR IS JUST OF VERY POOR QUALITY , I WILL BE GLAD TO SEND PICTURES OF THEM . THIS IS MY FIRST PAIR OF BORN SHOES . Review: On July 23, 2013 I wrote an email to the born shoe company customer care email. A shoe (Molly flat, Black WXXXXX) which I purchased from [redacted] is starting to fall apart. It appears that the low quality glue they used to assemble the shoe has worn off and the sole of my shoe is no longer holding. I purchased this shoe less than one year ago and paid full price ($78.90) for it. I am highly annoyed that this shoe is falling apart already. I am also annoyed that since I sent my email on July 23, 2013, no one from born has contacted me. This is poor customer service. I recently purchased three other born shoes, I will be returning them all, this company does not deserve my business.

Desired Settlement: Replace the shoe or refund me the money I paid ($78.90) for it. If I had known this shoe was of such low quality I would have never purchased it.
