I originally did bi monthly grass cutting for the customer. then after she called and requested to have additional work done over the phone, we did the work. making on time payments every month. A couple months later the customer called to dispute the billed amount. I explained the billed amount. then I was contacted by [redacted] ex husband which had explained to me that he was in the middle of a divorce and that his soon to be ex wife would pay this amount but it will take her a couple months to pay it off. Shortly after the discussion with him I received a payment for half of the amount due. I then sent a statement for the remaining balance and keep sending statements every month. I have tried numerous times to contact [redacted] and she has not returned my calls. there is a very small balance which I wish to settle with her but she is not responding to any calls or mailed invoices. making this matter very difficult to resolve.
