Boss Electric

I live in Clearwater Florida and Chris and Jim came out to work on Outdoors light and there was a bad neutral wire in a box in the wall so they had to feed another wire through to make the light work they could not have done a better job they were quick and efficient and they both are very nice and polite boss electric was very good on their rates not charging a service call and charge us by the hour when the job started I was very satisfied except for the charges for the materials that was pretty high for only what I few things I needed so would I use Bosch electric again I would but I would have to comment on the charges for the materials and I'll say it again Jim and Chris is very efficient and honest employees and they do good work

Review: I hired Jared Cowart the owner of Boss Electric to rewire a home for me. He stated the cost would be $6,000 for everything, labor, supplies, and equipment. Jared Cowart with Boss electric stated he could complete the job in 2 weeks. I hired him and paid him $3,000 down in cash, In three days Jared stated he needed $1,500 more dollars due to the cost of supplies, I paid him with a check so he would complete my job, a few days later, once again he needed more money so he could buy more supplies, he was paid $500 in cash this time. I kept all the signed receipts for the payments. Then I had trouble with him showing up at all to do any work. A week or so later he should back up and did a little work and then was going. While I was at work offshore a few weeks later he called my wife and asked for the remainder of the money to finish the job and my wife paid him hoping he would complete the work. Now at this time he was paid in full for the contract we had agreed on. When I returned back in for offshore 6 weeks after he was hired the work was still not complete. I called and texted him numerous times and finally got a response a few days later and he said he would be there shortly to complete the job, He never did show up. About a week later he shows up and says he needs $300 more dollars to pay for smoke detectors and a cut off box. I paid him in cash even though he already been paid in full, just hoping he would get the items and I could be finished with him. A few days later he shows up, works a few hours and tells me he is finished and I can call Cleco to turn the power on. When we put power to the breakers everything was shorting out and kicking the breakers off. I called him and told him and he said he would be over in the morning to check it out but never showed up. I got in the attic to check out the problem and he has wiring that is not connected and just laying there with exposed bare wires. He refuses to answer his calls or return any of my calls. It has been 2 1/2 months now.Desired Settlement: I would like him to pay for any repairs I need to do to his work to get my electricity turned back on.
