To Whom It May Concern: We have received the complaint from [redacted] regarding the shipment that was stolen off of his porch on or after 7/28/2016. In response to the length of time between his order and his shipment, at that time, we had it clearly marked on every page of our web-store that we...

are a small company and our product was in high demand, therefore, orders would take 2-3 weeks to ship. We have now caught up with shipping, so that declaration has since been removed from our site. As far as his shipment: [redacted] placed his order through our web-store and selected Priority shipping, which automatically comes with a small amount of insurance. He, at no time, contacted us to request additional shipping insurance or delivery instructions that might indicate that his order should be signed for or would not be safely delivered to the address he had entered on our site. He had previously placed two other orders, both of which, we assume, arrived safely and with no complaint. He mentions that he has already contacted the USPS and they have denied his claim, but did not give a reason the claim was denied. I can only speculate that it was denied because the package was scanned and successfully delivered. Our company cannot be held responsible for what happens to the product once it has been delivered. It is unfortunate that this order was stolen and we are sorry that it happened, but at no time did we operate any differently than we do for any other customer and at no time did [redacted] indicate that we should ship any differently than we had previously shipped to his address without incident.  In the future, we would gladly add a request for signature to any orders he might place. If he is uncomfortable having packages delivered to his home, he could also have them delivered to a friend, family member or trusted neighbor.
