Boss Landscaping Reviews (1)

Review: "B.O.S.S. Landscaping and Snow Removal", has been hired by our neighbor whose property is directly across the street from us, to plow snow, and in the process of plowing, the driver pushes and deposits our neighbor's snow onto our property. I have called the office of "B.O.S.S. Landscaping and Snow Removal" to complain about this practice, which created such a bad situation last winter that we could not open our sidewalk to pedestrian traffic all season. The secretary said that she would alert her truck driver to stop crossing the street with the neighbor's snow and depositing it onto our property. Nonetheless, "B.O.S.S. . . ." continues the practice this year, and I have called on Wednesday, January 13 and again on Monday, January 18 to request their consideration. Earlier today, Tuesday, January 19, 2016, once again, the plow driver pushed the snow from across the street to our side of the street. The City of [redacted] plow passed by and pushed that snow into the apron of our driveway! I did not call the "B.O.S.S." offices today and instead, I am requesting the help of the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: It is my desire that "B.O.S.S. Landscaping and Snow Removal" will stop moving snow from our neighbor's property to our property immediately. The City of [redacted] Code Enforcement Office may

proceed slowly in this matter but our problem is immediate. Perhaps a 'directive' from your office detailing any sanctions Revdex.com may impose on a business which infringes on the rights of property owners and City of [redacted] taxpaying residents will rectify the situation in a more timely manner.

February 26,2016Re: [redacted], ID #[redacted]Dear [redacted]This letter is in response to complaint filed against BOSS Landscaping & Snow removal by [redacted] We plow Mrs. [redacted]'s neighbor's driveway in the winter. There was an issue where a couple of new guys were pushing snow across the street and onto her property. The first time it happened was on 1/13/2015 I spoke with Mrs. [redacted] and apologized and told her it wouldn't happen again. Then I received a phone call from her on 01/18/2016, stating the driver had done it again. I couldn’t believe it...I was almost as frustrated as she was! I called the owner to find out HOW and WHY this happened again. Apparently a different plow driver was on the route that day and he did the same thing. I spoke to Mrs. [redacted], explained what happened, apologized again and told her that I would take care of this situation once and for all. At that point I wrote on the plow list in big red letters"DO NOT PUSH SNOW ACROSS STREET."I also personally spoke with both drivers and told them they COULD NOT push snow on other people's property EVER. Since then, we have had no problems with them pushing snow on her property. Please let Mrs. [redacted] know that we are sorry for any inconvenience this caused her family.Sincerely,Julie H[redacted] Office Manager

Response:

Re: Complaint ID [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted],Thank you very much for informing me of the outcome of my complaint against BOSS Landscaping and Snow Plowing of [redacted] PA. I am satisfied with the outcome of my complaint, and I am happy that there is an agency through which I can voice my concerns about local businesses and their impact on my rights as a home owner in the City of [redacted]I must say that in my calls to BOSS, Office Manager, Julie H[redacted], could not have been nicer or more respectful, and I sincerely appreciated her attempts to solve the problem from her desk. Some miscommunication between the office and the plow operators must have occurred, but it is obvious that directions to the staff have now been given. During the last snowstorm, I observed the plow driver clearing our neighbor’s driveway and depositing the snow to the side of the driveway on their property, which is proper procedure.I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely,[redacted]
