Regarding [redacted] Complaint Mr [redacted] came into Bostic Motors 1st of March and sold us a 1996 Cadillac reason being he said he could hold it on the road and his wife complain car to big so I bought the Cadillac off of Mr [redacted] for $1,500.  When I looked at Cadillac and bought...

it off of him it had a new battery in it. He wanted to take Cadillac home to clean it out witch was fine with me they brought it back in to the lot. The next morning Cadillac wouldn't start I pop the hood it had a old junk battery in it they switch battery on me. I contacted Mr.[redacted] about it he came back into Bostic Motors said his wife had switch it he didn't know about it here was sorry and on his next pay check he would pay me for battery. At which time he looked at the 2005 Dodge Neon said it was a smaller car would I take payments Bi- weekly on the car. I sold him the car $1,500 on payment in the amount of $50  every two weeks. I Explain to him he had to pay tax and tile and paper work fees that day in the amount of  $175.00 Mr [redacted] said he had to pick up his check that he'd be back the morning to pay it. **we have a large sign on the wall that explains tax and title is not included. We do not pay tax and title customer is to pay it as the time of sale** I gave him bill of sale to get temp tag.   Next day he didn't come in I tried calling him several times and no answer He came in 2 weeks later made a $ 50 payment said he didn't have tax and title money but here's your payment. Mr [redacted] repeated this again in two weeks.   Then 1st of April Mr [redacted] came in said him and his wife getting divorce would I write the car up in her name.  Which I did I explain to her she had to carry full coverage insurance on it since they where making payments and I needed her to pay tax and title paper work fees that hadn't been done yet. She had couple small kids in the car yelling and screaming she said she'd be back. Mrs [redacted] did not return until she made a $50 payment. She said she did not have tax money at that time she was waiting on tax return. Check. I ask for proof of insurance she did not give me that either.  Mrs [redacted] never made any more payments to me I tried several times to contact her to come pay tax and tile and I needed insurance info she would never answer the phone. I finally got ahold of her Friday the 10th of June she said she'd be in Monday to catch up pass due payment and pay Title fees also bring insurance proof. She never showed again.  So yes I repo the Neon because they where behind on payments still hadn't paid tile send tax fees and that had a car with no insurance driving it.  I called her from my wife's phone number she answered the phone when I stated to talk to her she said I had the wrong number and hung up. I sent Curry towing to pick up the car I 1st called the police to let them know I was  going to report the car.  When towing truck loaded the car Mr [redacted] came out yelling and screaming at me and towing truck.  He called the police and he followed the tow truck police pulled towing truck over. I showed the officer paper work and explain what happened he let us go. Officer told Mr [redacted] it was a civil matter. Later Mr [redacted] called me ask if they could have there stuff out of the car they new where it was towed to  I said yes if you bring me the key to the car they could have there stuff. We met where the car was Mr [redacted] open the neon up and put the key to it back in his truck I ask for the key here said no. My wife at that time shut and lock car back up told them the agreement was I gave you where stuff you give me the key. Mr and Mrs [redacted] started to leave yelling there is $700 in a wallet in that car and it better still be there.  My wife went to have a door key made she video non stop of getting door key and driving back to the neon We open the car still with video on and found wallet it had no money in it. Car was full two 30 gallon trash bags full of trash and stuff. There was molded food roaches in the car. I called Mr [redacted] told him I had all his stuff out of the car to meet me at the car lot with the keys and I'd give it to him. Which he did do he went thru the bags found the wallet said we took his money and left. Now if there was $700  in that car why didn't he ask the police officer if he could have it when police had towing truck pulled over. Just saying. MR [redacted] made a police report he also stated he always keep car unlocked. Mr [redacted] called me back and ask if there was a fuzz buster left in the car he couldn't find it in those bags. I told him it was put in the bag and video showed that. The Neon is not in the same condition it was when it left my carlot when I sold it. Hood was keyed on top mold and dirt and roaches in side.Mr [redacted]
