Revdex.com spoke with the business today and they have stated that a check has been mailed to the consumer to resolve the complaint
No job is too big or too small for Switala! You are treated with the utmost respect, urgency and priority whether you are spending thousands of dollars or a hundredJim and Bill are the most knowledgeable, hard working and fair individuals in the roofing businessThey use their own work crews and do not sub contract out! They show up on the designated day and on time until the job is completed to your satisfaction. The crews are supervised under the watchful eyes of these two men and I challenge anyone to find one piece of debris or tiny nail when they leave your residence--they are meticulous beyond belief! Their accessibility is phenomenal tooThey visit the job site daily, and ALWAYS answer their phones and texts! They use the best high quality materials on every jobSo if you (like most individuals) want a "worry free" construction experience and an outstanding job completed these are your "go to" gentlemanI give them my highest unqualified recommendation
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]
The consumer called and stated that the business has contacted him and resolved the issues He stated the complaint is resolved
I called several roofing companies in the area for estimates All estimates were in the same area cost wiseWhat set Switala's apart was the fact that the owner himself came out to look at my house I had ice damage this past year and knew I wouldn't be able to squeak through another winter The owner ( Bill I believe his name was) was very pleasant, and thoroughly explained what needed to be done He let me know that it would be a few weeks before they could get to me as they were booked out quite a bit ( I'm not surprised) They had the work completed in only a couple short days, and cleaned everything up afterwords, which I appreciate as I have little ones He even threw in a little piece of gutter that I was missing for free! I thought this whole thing was going to be very stressful, but actually it was a breezeYou might have to wait a little bit for these guys, but I will say it was well worth the wait to have such a great experience!
Jim M*** called and said they will be out to do the job soon after January There was no prepayment made by the consumer
The work has been completed and the customer is completely satisfied
Revdex.com spoke with the business today and *** stated that he met with the consumer There was a nail that was put in that missed the rafter, and the consumer thought that the plywood was not nailed in properly, but there were nails inserted into the rafter, the nail that missed was just not pulled
out I discussed with the consumer and he is satisfied

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve...
my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Our attorney sent a letter to Mr. J
Switala on October 26, 2015 informing him that we elected to cancel the
contract because the company failed to perform the work within a reasonable
time and did not commit to a time to have the roof done.
Our attorney received a message from
Carl W[redacted] at Switala’s, on October 30 who advised our attorney that they
were “booked solid” and would consider the contract null and void. Our
attorney confirmed this message with Switala’s Construction via a letter dated
November 2, 2015.
Therefore, we have entered into a
contract with another firm as our attorney indicated we would do in his letter
of November 2. As a result, there is no need for Switala’s Construction to do
the roof in January 2106.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
