Boston City Ride

Booked a flight through Azores Getaways a/k/a Yes Getaways ("AG") for tickets on *** Portugal. Circumstances changed and I requested to change origin cities. AG advised that they could not change origin, a new ticket would need to be purchase. AG did offer a partial refund of approximately 30%. I accepted their offer and was told to wait 5 business days for refund to process.

In the meantime I rebooked new tickets from a new city at a much higher price and awaited the promised refund. Several days later AG contacted me by e-mail to inform me that they would no longer honor the promised 30% refund, and instead offered me one-half of that amount. I refused, in that I had relied upon the previous refund to purchase new tickets at a higher price.

AG continues to contact me, demanding that I accept the new amount as reimbursement. After weeks of correspondence, they now claim the original amount was a "typo," and there was nothing they could do despite that they are a commonly-used booking agent for ***.
