Revdex.com dispute Resolution Team 6-28- We did move Mr [redacted] from Houston to [redacted] , Mn on 5-15-and did have some damages related to the service We have been trying to work with Mr [redacted] on getting one of our vendors out to assess the damages and give us an estimate on the repair or replacement values on this claim For various reasons we have not been able to coordinate that with Mr [redacted] and he has had his own vendor do an assessment and has sent us his copy of those cost I have personally reached out to Mr [redacted] to try and get this claim settled and feel that we can come to an applicable agreement within the next few days and I will let you know as soon as that happens Roger [redacted] General Manager Tell us why here

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint Sent: Monday, May 15, 12:PM Subject: complaint *** [...] I originally wanted to be reimbursed by the Revdex.com for the full amount that I was charged from this moving company the company charged me $which I never agreed to and the invoice I was given was for $ Roger, the owner of Two men and a Truck finally agreed to reduce the amount by $and said he would send me a check for the amount of $460... Well that has never happpened. I have received numerous excuses from Caroline his office manager, that Roger is sick, family is ill, out of office, and the list goes on. Finally I reached Roger myself and he said in an email last week that the only way he will reimburse me for the $is that he has the complaint removed off the internet completely. So, we are back to Roger not reimbursing me partially, for this awful moveThe reason I took the time to let you know about this moving company is because: 1. The estimator that came out to schedule the move did not schedule the move for me. I called in a credit card to Two Men a truck and was reassured the move would go smoothly and I was on the schedule for this move. His name is on the invoice - Tim ***. He came out on 2-2-and quoted me the amount to move as $2. On the day of the scheduled move no one showed up at am so I had to call and ask the office manager, Caroline, what has occurred. She said I was not listed for the move at all. I asked for a discount since they did not have anyone to move me. She said they could give me percent and I responded that I felt I should get more of a discount she said if I did not like it I could find a new mover. I kept calling back and finally at around noon guys turned up to move me3. These movers did not know how to move anything. They would take one piece at a time from each room and so the move did not end till midnightthe movers did not move everything. The next day I had to load up my suv vehicle three times myself to move all of it just had bed frame collapse in bedroom yesterday and had to screw it in myself and my back is really hurtingit was never put together at all. 5. Roger way overcharged me the original amount was for $and he did not want to discount it at all. He said the movers worked overtime and because of that he had to charge me more money. If I would have had skilled movers this move would not have taken all these hours. The movers told me this company does not schedule moves properly and this scrambling to find men to help out happens all the time6. Roger does not want to pay me the $he has promised. This complaint has been ongoing since the end of February. I have gotten the run around from this business for months now. I really feel I deserve to be reimbursed for the full amount of this move which Roger charged me of $ I hope you will reconsider your original decision. I have spent alot of my time and frustration trying to resolve this complaint. I await your decision on this matterRespectfully, *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

I had told Mrs. [redacted] that as soon as she notified the Revdex.com that she would be satisfied with the original settlement agreement of the credit for $460.00 that we would send the refund. Now that has been done we will be mailing the refund check to her today.

On 2-2-17 our in-home move consultant (Tim [redacted]) who has been doing this for 17 years met with Mrs. [redacted] at her residence to look over her upcoming move and inventory the items to be moved and then sent her the estimate via e-mail with instructions on how to setup her move and with a pdf...

attachment of the actual estimated cost.  This estimate has been sent to the Revdex.com and was not $1138.00 as stated by Mrs. [redacted].  The $1138.00 was the estimate for the moving time but that does not include the additional charges for transportation and increased carrier liability.  On 2-3-17 Tim sent this estimate to Mrs. [redacted] and on 2-4-17 Mrs. [redacted] responded to his e-mail with a question about clothing in the dresser drawers.I am not sure of the exact date but Mrs. [redacted] did call our office and gave her credit card information and she had spoken with one of our new customer service representatives and he failed to get the job scheduled in our database for 2-16-17.  Therefore on the move date we did not have a truck and crew scheduled for her and after she contacted our office that morning there was confusion as to how this happened.  We did apologize to Mrs. [redacted] in regards to this over-site and told her that we were going to do everything possible to get a crew put together for her.  This was definitely our fault with a new employee not following the procedures for one of our [redacted] survey jobs to make sure that all processes were followed and we apologized for this mistake. We were able to get a crew together for Mrs. [redacted] and they arrived around 11:30 to proceed with the moving services.  I reached out to Mrs. [redacted] on the day of the move to see how things were going and apologize myself for the confusion and delays but on moving day things are very hectic and she was not able to answer her phone and I left a voicemail for her to get back with me.The move did take longer than estimated and I was definitely wanting to talk with her about an adjustment.  Mrs. [redacted] did return my phone call on 2-21-17 and we did have a conversation about her dissatisfaction of the services and my explanation and apology as to why this occurred.  I did let her know that I was willing to give her an adjustment to the invoice but I really wanted to have an opportunity to visit with my sells person, customer service representative and moving crew before doing so and that I would get back with her in 2-3 days to discuss.  I had to go our of town of 2-23-17 so I had one of my customer service representatives send her an e-mail explaining that I would get with her the following Monday to discuss.  On that Monday 2-27-17 I did call and left a voicemail and also sent her an e-mail which was Tim's original estimate as I wanted her to have in front of her during our phone conversation and I stated that I would continue to reach out to her.On 3-1-17 I was able to reach her and by this time she had filed the Revdex.com complaint.  Her total invoice for the moving services was $1598.00 and her original estimate was for $1381.00 but for some reason she was thinking that her estimate was for $1138.00.I offered to make an adjustment down to the her perceived estimate cost which would have been a credit of $460.00.   She stated that she did not want to accept that offer and wanted to settle through the Revdex.com complaint. We definitely understand why Mrs. [redacted] is upset and we have apologized and have tried to make things right based on our errors, but I also feel that the offered settlement is fair to resolve the matter. We strive to have all of our customers feel satisfied with the services that they receive from our company.
