Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below Hello, Please see below my response in bold to [redacted] ’s message on my complaint It should be noted that he has yet to start any work on my houseMessage from Business: To whom it may concern.Reason for not responding, [redacted] had her son in law get in touch with us to try to resolve this issueWe have been speaking for a while by phone, then we exchanged some emails, my last email was over week ago, did not heard back from them since He informed me not to take phone calls from [redacted] or to contact her either, contact will be through Him onlyThis is not true [redacted] only responded to my son-in-law AFTER I submitted my complaint to the Revdex.com As mentioned in my original complaint, he had stopped responding to all of my requests and phone calls to try to figure out how to get the project he has been paid for completedMy son-in-law has responded to him, and acknowledged that it can take a few days to respond to emails—he works over hours a week In fact, at the time of this submission, [redacted] has not responded to my son-in-law, who emailed him a week ago in an effort to resolve any of these issuesRegardless, there is no excuse for [redacted] not responding to me for months before I was finally forced to file a complaintTo be clear as well, my son-in-law offered to be an intermediary on my behalf—he has not instructed [redacted] to ignore my calls and communication if I ever choose to directly reach out to him[redacted] is willing to get the water turned on to be able to perform our work, water now is shot off at the street main supply There is misleading [redacted] has already told the water department that he will call them himself directly to set up any appointmentsBut he never has The water department requires the contractor, not the owner, to arrange for the water to be turned on and be present when they do so Furthermore, in the past, [redacted] has confirmed times to schedule appointments with the water department for other matters, and would not show up [redacted] has been a no-show so many times that the water department has now said that they will not make a pre-scheduled appointment with him to turn the water on, as this wastes city workers’ time He is now required to be working on site and then must call to request that the water be turned on He has yet to do this[redacted] is willing to fill the oil tank with oil to be able to test and run the heating system constantly to pressure the system and check for leaks.Per our contract, [redacted] is responsible for all materials, electric bills, heating etcWater is minimum by the owner I never took the responsibility of filling the oil tank for him to do the job that he has already been paid for As a favor, I have offered to pay $to start the oil in the tank This is in hopes that he actually starts working on the project Through my son-in-law, we have asked [redacted] to send oil company names so we can give them instructions, but he has not done that.He is understanding to the issues that took place, the accusations, the molded furniture that is inside the home based on [redacted] request to save and not to dispose offThis is untrue Everything in my complaint is accurate and truthful The original complaint gives a detailed description of how [redacted] had cleared the entire house and placed some salvageable items (eg a stove, dishwasher, fridge etc.) into the dry garage and dry area of the basement, per the contract requirements I have pictures of where all the rooms were empty and free of any items However, at some point, without my knowledge or permission, [redacted] placed items back into the main housePer the contract, I have always asked that items with mold be disposed of I reiterated this request when [redacted] talked to my son-in-law because I did not want [redacted] to create even more excuses to not do the work he has already been paid for.Payments made are not to the schedule of payments agreed on in the contractPayments have always been made on schedule—per the contract, [redacted] was supposed to complete specific work and provide documentation for it before receiving another payment As listed in the original complaint, he has been given $100K in cash, and has done minimal work It would be unwise to keep paying [redacted] money if he does not complete the work he’s already been paid for first Furthermore, [redacted] is violating the contract and keeps insisting that he will not place my money in an escrow account, which leaves me vulnerable for more fraudulent tactics on his end.We did not abandoned the project, our company sign still in front of the house and we met with the police and the building department to make sure home is secure and safeThey were satisfied with there site visit after walking through the house and seeing all the work that is doneI would argue that he has abandoned the project—his sign is hidden in shrubs, and he made it known that he has canceled his insurance on the house, which per the contract, he is required to have Furthermore, despite being paid $100K to complete various phases of the project, he has stopped doing anything—the last time I received any update of work he did on my house was in July Furthermore, per my original complaint, the Town itself wrote in a notice that they were under the impression that my house had been abandonedRegarding the police and building department, I have no idea what [redacted] is talking about This has nothing to do with him abandoning my project In fact, the police, who we were forced to call since [redacted] refused to give my representatives keys and access to my property, told us that the house did not look like it had been touched in a very long time or had much work done on it.In one of [redacted] past emails, she mentioned that she and her family have thoughts about changing the terms of the contract, she has denied that nowI have always followed the contract, and when he had stopped working on my house, I once asked if he wanted to rework the dates in the contract as he was so far behind and I figured it would encourage him to keep a better schedule Regardless, I’m not sure what the relevance of this is as a contract can only be done with both parties’ mutual agreement anyway. They want Boston Contractors & Developers LLC to get back to the job in full force to complete and finish the project, but in our thoughts, payments has to be made based on the existing contract terms.I couldn’t agree morePer the contract, [redacted] needs to provide proof of rough inspection for a long list of items that he has already been paid $100K for He needs to abide by the contract and complete the work before asking for more money He has repeatedly asked for another $40K (and insists he won’t place that money in an escrow account) even as he refuses to finish the work he has already been paid for This frankly feels like extortion and makes no logical sense.I am being brief with my respond to you, will not mention the unnecessary things or he said she said Please feel free to contact me at your convenience with your questions and feed back or for any further explanations.I will close by saying that despite all these issues, I am hoping that [redacted] decides to finally abide by the contract and completes the work he had agreed to do If he does that, I will be more than happy to inform you immediately and drop the complaint When speaking to my son-in-law, [redacted] threatened that he would not start back on the project until I wrote to the Revdex.com and tell you that our issues are resolved I am not comfortable telling you our issues are resolved when he hasn’t even begun work on the house and still has my money However, I will of course let you know if [redacted] ends up doing the work he agreed to in our contract once he actually does itRegards, [redacted] ***

To Whom it may concern [redacted] Son in Law [redacted] has been in contact with us via phone & emails to get the project moving forward, here respond back is not acknowledging that at all, [redacted] keeps on objecting [redacted] resides in NJ, we met last weekend in Providence RI face to face to discussed the project issues and needs to get the project back on trackWe are communicating back and forth with ***, if [redacted] keep with senseless accusations, we will remove our self from the project and close out the permit, we have wasted more than year.Once a decision is reached, we will let you knowThank you [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] As highlighted in the original complaint and repeated in the response to ***, I am asking for [redacted] to stick to his contract and finish the work he has already been paid for His latest response to the Revdex.com does not address any of the actual facts and complaints I have made, and instead, he threatens to walk away from his contractual obligations if I continue to pursue a legitimate claim through the Revdex.com As mentioned in my previous response, I am more than happy to drop the complaint if [redacted] actually does the work for which he has already been paid $100K in cash for But he can't expect to take my money, and then not even do the work laid out in the contract. There are a few new points I want to make since the last time I wrote As stated in my previous complaint (even though [redacted] inexplicably says I never acknowledge this), my son-in-law has been in touch with him in an effort to get this project moving · My son-in-law gave [redacted] more than two-week's advance notice that he would be in Boston and would like to see him and the house At the last minute, [redacted] made a flimsy excuse for not being in Boston, and offered to meet in Rhode Island instead Even so, my son-in-law drove to the house himself and found it to be in an awful condition [redacted] claimed that the house is safe and secure, yet there was a massive hole in the back entrance door where small animals could easily pass or an individual could put their hands through Furthermore, ***'s sign was hidden in overgrown shrubs and there was a violation sticker from the Town of Brookline pasted on the front door According to the contract, [redacted] was responsible to maintain the grass in the yard, yet the yard was so overgrown with weeds that it was difficult for anyone to even walk through The house looked like it was abandoned and untouched I have uploaded pictures for your review · According to ***, he had placed some of my items in a pod OUTSIDE the house He now has placed some of those items inside one of the bedrooms At one point earlier this year, the town inspector asked him to finish the plumbing work that had been outlined in his contract, and [redacted] said that because of the moldy furniture in the house--which he placed there himself--he could not get anyone to do the work due to health concerns ***'s tune changed when he spoke to my son-in-law, whom he assured that there were no health issues as everything was dry I don't know which version of ***'s story to believe, but it is clear he brought back items he considered moldy into a house he was supposed to fix Furthermore, he is making up excuses to avoid completing the actual work he's already been paid $100K for· [redacted] lied about having insurance Per our contract [redacted] is supposed to purchase a Builders risk insurance policy He claimed that he had adequate insurance on the house, and even gave "paperwork" to my son-in-law to prove that he has insurance When I contacted the insurance company to confirm his claim, I was informed that [redacted] has no insurance The agent also informed me that the copy of the insurance certificate [redacted] sent to my son-in-law was purchased early in the year on 2/8/17, and that he cancelled it a few weeks later(The dates coincide with the time the town inspector came to the house and asked [redacted] to complete the plumbing work) Even though [redacted] is obligated to have specific insurance that is detailed in the contract, he not only outright lied about having it, but was also trying to pressure me to get my own policy as well To top it all off, he used the lack of my having a policy as reason to drag his heels to complete the project· I will also note that he told my son-in-law that the work he's already been paid for should take about three weeks to complete However, even after promising to start the project on July 5th, he has yet to do anything [redacted] and my son-in-law have now been in conversation for about two months, with [redacted] dragging his feet or making baseless excuses to delay the project This is highly unethical, fraudulent and dishonest. All this said, as emphasized before, I will be more than happy to drop this complaint, but [redacted] needs to do the work he was paid for Regards, [redacted] ***

Hello, Please see below my response in bold to [redacted]’s message on my complaint.  It should be noted that he has yet to start any work on my house. Message from Business: To whom it may concern.Reason for not responding, [redacted] had her son in law get in touch with us to try to resolve this issue. We have been speaking for a while by phone, then we exchanged some emails, my last email was over 1 week ago, did not heard back from them since.  He informed me not to take phone calls from [redacted] or to contact her either, contact will be through Him only. This is not true.  [redacted] only responded to my son-in-law AFTER I submitted my complaint to the Revdex.com.  As mentioned in my original complaint, he had stopped responding to all of my requests and phone calls to try to figure out how to get the project he has been paid for completed. My son-in-law has responded to him, and acknowledged that it can take a few days to respond to emails—he works over 80 hours a week.  In fact, at the time of this submission, [redacted] has not responded to my son-in-law, who emailed him a week ago in an effort to resolve any of these issues. Regardless, there is no excuse for [redacted] not responding to me for months before I was finally forced to file a complaint. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
As highlighted in the original complaint and repeated in the response to [redacted], I am asking for [redacted] to stick to his contract and finish the work he has already been paid for.  His latest response to the Revdex.com does not address any of the actual facts and complaints I have made, and instead, he threatens to walk away from his contractual obligations if I continue to pursue a legitimate claim through the Revdex.com.  As mentioned in my previous response, I am more than happy to drop the complaint if [redacted] actually does the work for which he has already been paid $100K in cash for.  But he can't expect to take my money, and then not even do the work laid out in the contract. There are a few new points I want to make since the last time I wrote.  As stated in my previous complaint (even though [redacted] inexplicably says I never acknowledge this), my son-in-law has been in touch with him in an effort to get this project moving.  ·  My son-in-law gave [redacted] more than two-week's advance notice that he would be in Boston and would like to see him and the house.  At the last minute, [redacted] made a flimsy excuse for not being in Boston, and offered to meet in Rhode Island instead.  Even so, my son-in-law drove to the house himself and found it to be in an awful condition.  [redacted] claimed that the house is safe and secure, yet there was a massive hole in the back entrance door where small animals could easily pass or an individual could put their hands through.  Furthermore, [redacted]'s sign was hidden in overgrown shrubs and there was a violation sticker from the Town of Brookline pasted on the front door.  According to the contract, [redacted] was responsible to maintain the grass in the yard, yet the yard was so overgrown with weeds that it was difficult for anyone to even walk through.  The house looked like it was abandoned and untouched.  I have uploaded pictures for your review.   ·  According to [redacted], he had placed some of my items in a pod OUTSIDE the house.  He now has placed some of those items inside one of the bedrooms.  At one point earlier this year, the town inspector asked him to finish the plumbing work that had been outlined in his contract, and [redacted] said that because of the moldy furniture in the house--which he placed there himself--he could not get anyone to do the work due to health concerns.  [redacted]'s tune changed when he spoke to my son-in-law, whom he assured that there were no health issues as everything was dry.  I don't know which version of [redacted]'s story to believe, but it is clear he brought back items he considered moldy into a house he was supposed to fix.  Furthermore, he is making up excuses to avoid completing the actual work he's already been paid $100K for. ·  [redacted] lied about having insurance.  Per our contract [redacted] is supposed to purchase a Builders risk insurance policy.  He claimed that he had adequate insurance on the house, and even gave "paperwork" to my son-in-law to prove that he has insurance.  When I contacted the insurance company to confirm his claim, I was informed that [redacted] has no insurance.  The agent also informed me that the copy of the insurance certificate [redacted] sent to my son-in-law was purchased early in the year on 2/8/17, and that he cancelled it a few weeks later. (The dates coincide with the time the town inspector came to the house and asked [redacted] to complete the plumbing work).  Even though [redacted] is obligated to have specific insurance that is detailed in the contract, he not only outright lied about having it, but was also trying to pressure me to get my own policy as well.  To top it all off, he used the lack of my having a policy as reason to drag his heels to complete the project. ·  I will also note that he told my son-in-law that the work he's already been paid for should take about three weeks to complete.  However, even after promising to start the project on July 5th, he has yet to do anything.  [redacted] and my son-in-law have now been in conversation for about two months, with [redacted] dragging his feet or making baseless excuses to delay the project.  This is highly unethical, fraudulent and dishonest. All this said, as emphasized before, I will be more than happy to drop this complaint, but [redacted] needs to do the work he was paid for.
