Boston Truck Center is accepting NO responsibility for this at allThe lower end damage of the engine could not have been caused by cranking the engine unless it had no oil in it, the engine was full of oil when it arrived at our locationSo regardless of how much it was cranked it would not have caused damage to the engine, Injectors were failed, we had to fix the injector problem and get the engine running to find out that there was lower end damage, we had no way of knowing there was lower end damage to the engine when the unit arrivedThe engine needed to be overhauled when it arrived unfortunately again there is no way of us knowing that the engine was failed until we got the engine runningThe engine needed new injectors regardless, They were failed due to the contaminated fuelDD series injectors will fail fast with contaminated fuelWe were willing to adjust the price of the overhaul if the customer had us perform the repair to help him out, it was the customers decision to have the unit towed all the way to California to have the repairs completedCustomer is asking for reimbursement on injectors that had to be replaced regardlessAgain there is no fault on our end, we apologize that the customer does not understand fully what happened to his engine
