Boston Lasers has made every attempt at a compromise to this unfortunate situation First and foremost, Boston Lasers was not given any instruction as to what side of the wood to cut, The employee cutting the product provided uses standard company practice of making the determination as to what side of the product is better or looks best when no instructions are given or implied When the customer picked up the finished product he was extremely pleased with the job and made comment on how “great” the job was Boston Lasers did not charge for the laser cutting Boston Lasers offered to cut the job again at no charge Boston Lasers will not be responsible for materials provided without exact specification for what side of the wood should be cut We will provide all correspondence that was had with the customer with specifications and drawings Boston Lasers has absorbed labor costs for cutting, specification drawing and analysis , and overhead for laser machines We feel the compromise to offer to do the job again at no cost is more than fair to both partiesOur main goal is to provide customer satisfaction and have been able to do so since Let me know what you think – and copy me in on what you send to Revdex.com please

Boston Lasers recieved clear instruction from the delivery reciept of which side of the wood to cut, the wood is unquestionably 1-sided, and they still chose to cut it on the incorrect sideI do not accept their claim that they had insufficient direction from me the customer and their offer to not charge for making the would unusable is not an adequate option to adress the dammage done to me

The plywood delivered had a single birchwood face side. There was no cause for any Boston Lasers employee to make a judgement call on which side to cut. The value of the wood is $717.19. I will accept either replaced birchwood plywood of equal quality, or $717.19.

Boston Lasers Precision cut, LLC prides itself with customer service and quality of work.  The representative at Boston Lasers who was in contact with this customer did his best to resolve this issue by offering to re-cut the job at no cost.We also did not charge for the original...

order. With laser cutting  projects such as topographical maps out of wood, the files and instructions must be explicit and precise.Although we are experts at the actual laser cutting in various types of materials our customers must provide files and instructions for the materials they provide in order to receive the end result they desire.This particular customer provided the files and the materials.  He did not specify which side of the wood was to be cut.  The employees cutting this project used their best judgement in which side to cut – they chose the most appealing side of the plywood. We would love to satisfy this customer which is our goal with all customers.  We are willing to re-cut this job at no cost.  However due to the amount of files and emails that transpired and the time involved in planning this project, we simply cannot absorb the cost of material. Please note we would be happy to provide all correspondence with this customer which included all the instructions and files he provided.Thank you
