Date: 10/12/Re: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms [redacted] ’s complaintThank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe have been working very hard on behalf of Ms [redacted] to find her compatible referrals ever since she became a clientWe have found a few gentlemen so far, but not all referrals have panned out, unfortunatelyWe are just as disappointed if this should happen, as our matchmakers work countless hours to put together compatible couples in the hopes of creating successful relationshipsMs [redacted] did not connect with her first referral when they met for a dateHowever, according to him, he felt they “hit it off”Ms [redacted] did not feel they had things in commonOn the contrary, according to their profiles, they were very compatible with one another and shared commonalitiesUnfortunately, it was not a love connectionWe “comped” or “bonused back” this referral for Ms [redacted] and resumed our search· We found a new potential gentleman in AugustMs [redacted] did not wish to meet himWe resumed our search again· We found another man shortly thereafter, but he then became unavailable to date at the timeWe resumed our search again· We found a new potential referral in SeptemberThis referral did not work out eitherWhile we were diligently working to find the next, most compatible referral, Ms [redacted] requested to cancelWe reminded her that when she joined, we explained the process takes time and how her Relationship Specialist explained the same during the interviewMs [redacted] agreed she was informed this, but appeared to be less than patientIn the paperwork we provided to Ms [redacted] , there is a section in our Regulations titled “Referrals”It explains everything our clients can expect with respect to their referralsSome pertinent information states we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of referralsWe will only match our clients with those who are likely most mutually compatible, which can take time and researchWe use our best judgment when providing referrals and no two people are generally perfectly compatibleOur clients also will not like everyone they are introduced toWe try to set realistic expectations right from the beginningIn the Client Agreement, it states under paragraph #the Client has received a copy of our Regulations, has had time to review the Regulations and ask any necessary questionsThe Agreement also states the Client fee is non-refundableWe only wish to move forward with Ms [redacted] ’s programShe has agreed, per her signed Client Obligation form, she is required to meet all of her purchased referrals so she may give us the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the programShe also agrees not to go to any outside agency prior to trying to resolve any matters directly with our staffShe agrees to set up a phone meeting with a senior member of our Client Resolution team and allow them the opportunity to resolve her complaint to her satisfactionKindest Regards, Boston Matchmakers

Date: 11/14/Re: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms [redacted] ’s complaintThank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe will address this situation with the information we have in our recordsMs [redacted] came to our office for an interview on October 16th and decided to join our servicesDuring the interview, we provide various paperwork for our program, including an agreement which states the client fee is non-refundableOnce our clients leave our office following this interview, we immediately begin working for them and providing our servicesWe enter the client’s information into our system, conduct the national background check, enter detailed notes from the interview, discuss potential referrals on the new client’s behalf, etcMs [redacted] sent us an e-mail on October 19th, stating she completed the online questionnaire and everything necessary to “finish the process”She inquired about the status of her accountWe left her a voice message and sent a folle-mail, explaining we were waiting on the results of the background check and that we would be calling her as soon as we didWe received an e-mail from Ms [redacted] on October 25th in which she stated she did not want to move forward with the processWe immediately called her upon receipt of her e-mailMs [redacted] stated she changed her mind and was mainly concerned about not seeing photos of our male clientsWe tried to provide her encouragement and ease her fears, but she was still apprehensive and wanted to cancel [redacted] , the Relationship Specialist who signed up Ms [redacted] for our services, called her on October 27thMs [redacted] said she was at work and to call back [redacted] left a voice message for Ms [redacted] on October 30thMs [redacted] sent an e-mail on 11/1, stating she never heard from [redacted] Again, [redacted] called and left a message on November 1stThey played phone tag for a few days and [redacted] left a most recent message for Ms [redacted] on November 8th [redacted] has not received a return call and now we have received this complaintWe have tried speaking with Ms [redacted] about what has changed her mind since she joinedAs we explained, the agreement states that our client fee is non-refundable, so Ms [redacted] is not eligible for a refundWe only wish to move forward with her program and assist her in finding someone specialWe know this was initially important to herKindest Regards, Boston Matchmakers

To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms [redacted] ’s complaintThank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe will focus on Ms [redacted] ’s individual experience with our program and the services which have been provided thus farEveryone has a different experience with our program The following information has been taken directly from Ms [redacted] 's accountMs [redacted] joined our services in AugustWe provided her a first referral who showed to be most mutually compatible with herThe gentleman is described as “a few extra pounds” (this information was provided to Ms [redacted] when the match was put together), but he exercises 1-times per week, is listed as a social drinker (1-drinks per week), and his hobbies and interests include various activities such as golf, swimming, walking/hiking, bowling, cycling, etcThey met one another for a date, but there was no romantic connection between themWe explain to our clients that they are not going to like every person they meet through our programMs [redacted] completed her date feedback in September and requested to go on hold until March of Ms [redacted] called on 10/and wanted to know if we received any feedback from her first referralShe said she was doing better – lost some weight and her hair is growing, so she had it cut and styledShe said she was still not ready, but will call us after the holidaysMs [redacted] called again on 11/and said she wanted her money backShe was down in the dumps, stating that she didn’t think anyone would want to date her, she felt bad about her appearance, etcWe told her there is someone for EVERYONE and we just needed to find her the right personWe offered to take her off hold and try againWe spoke with her for a while and tried to provide her encouragementMs [redacted] called again on 12/1, stating she is not ready to “do this”We tried to provide encouragement again and she wanted to stay on holdShe said she would contact us after the holidaysWe have now received this complaintWe have provided our services to Ms [redacted] thus farEverything was right on schedule with her programShe did not have a romantic connection with her first referral and has been on hold sinceWe believe it would be beneficial for her to give the program a fair chanceWe would hope our clients would not expect instant success on the first tryMs [redacted] may have read an article posted by someone in our program, but everyone has a very different experience and attitude is everythingThis is only one article written about one person’s experienceIn addition, people are more likely to vocalize a complaint, but not express on the internet when they are happy(Our services are discreet, so people do not share that they met their special someone through us too often.) We also have specials at times and some people purchase more referrals for more money, less referrals for less money, etcThe gentleman in the article had purchased a Passive program, which entails he is to remain in our database as an option for the female Clients we search for and we do not actively search on his behalfIn addition to signing a non-refundable agreement, Ms [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states she agrees she must meet all of her purchased referrals in order to give us the full opportunity to meet her expectations of our programShe also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues with our staffWe would like Ms [redacted] to give our program a fair chanceWe only want to help herWe would like to move forward in a positive direction with Ms [redacted] ’s program and continue helping her find someone specialKindest Regards, Boston Matchmakers

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] [They have not provided a completed profile and therefore have not fulfilled their aspect of our contractI did meet with the a representative on 10/and was assured my profile and background check would be completed in a timely fashion and would be hearing from them within the next few daysWhen this did not take place, I phoned their office on 10/to see what the delay was in processing my profile as I had completed my questionnaire that evening as instructedI received a voicemail back stating it would be competed, it was not, [redacted] stated she had been on vacation and would get to itI found this unacceptable and it was now 10/I then stated to cancel my membership as this business had not kept their part of the contract and the non-refundable part of the contract was void by their lack of action, not mineThis was the point I was told I needed to speak with [redacted] She phoned me once during my working hours, when I clearly stated she would need to phone me after 5pm, which she DID NOTI phoned her back three more times, which my calls were never returned, I have sent four emails, which have never been returned.Their statement to saying we have been paying phone tag is completely inaccurate, there have been no return calls from this business and no return emails to mine.In stead this business has chosen to ignore the customer complaintsThe business has not completed their part of the contract as stated and caused it to be void.The business has continued to use this stock response in all of their dealings with customer complaints in which they have not fulfilled their contract obligationsThis business has not provided me with a service, they did not make any attempt to complete my profile and they did not respond my many calls Regards, [redacted] M [redacted]

Date: 9/25/17Re: [redacted] *** To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Mr [redacted] ***’ complaintThank you for bringing this matter to our attention.We are very surprised to receive this complaintMr [redacted] joined our services a couple months ago and everything has been right on schedule with his programWe promised to provide Mr [redacted] with referrals, which we are, and all the services involved in providing those referralsWe explain to our clients that we will match them with those who are likely most mutually compatible and we will provide referrals who most nearly match the client’s requirements.Mr [redacted] has met one woman so farIn his feedback, he rated the date a “4” with “5” being the highest ratingHe said his referral was “nice and outgoing” but they “just didn’t have a spark”He also stated his referral “Was awesome”, “she did nothing wrongJust reminded me of a family member”Mr [redacted] then changed his profile preferences to omit “a few extra pounds”We informed him we would resume our searchWe were actively searching for the next, most compatible referral for Mr [redacted] and we have now received this complaint.We would like to continue working with Mr [redacted] and assist him in finding someone specialMr [redacted] signed an agreement which states his fee is non-refundable and he also signed a client obligation form which states he agrees he must meet all of his purchased matches in order to give us the full opportunity to meet his expectations of our programHe has only met one woman thus farWe believe it would be beneficial for him to the give the services a fair chanceMr [redacted] also agrees, per this form, that he will contact us directly to discuss any concerns he may have with his programWe are here if he would like to discuss anythingWe only wish success for him.Thank you,Boston Matchmakers
