This truck was originally $18,995, Mr [redacted] made an offer of $17,($1,below list price) after he came over, test drove the truck and visually inspected itBefore accepting his offer, I [redacted] (the owner) sent the truck for a safety checkI wanted to be sure the truck didn’t need any repairs before lowering the price Part of the safety check were new tires, wheel hub and a wheel alignmentPlease note that wheel alignments are only performed by any alignment shop when all suspension parts are in good shapeOtherwise the shop will not be able to align the carHe’s vehicle checked good, as per alignment shopHis particular truck was serviced at [redacted] ***, a well known and recognized shop in the area A couple of days after the truck was delivered to customer, I received a call from Mr [redacted] stating that the truck wouldn’t pass inspection due to a bad ball jointWith him living a little over an hour from us and having experience as a mechanic, he asked if we could pay for the part and he would do the repair I said that that could be done once he could provided me with the failed inspection receipt showing what was wrong with the truck, once that was done I would order and pay for the parts under my business to use my wholesale discounts and he would be able to pick up the parts at a shop near him Keep in mind, a set of ball joints cost around $30-$dollars, he only needed ball jointAbout a week later Mr [redacted] called again stating that he needed more parts and giving me a higher cost, to be specific, about $moreBeing that he was never able to provide me with the failed inspection receipt I told him that I’d rather have the truck in my shopThat is my right as a seller in the state of MA I am still unsure of why I never received the print out he allegedly got from the state inspection station stating that the vehicle didn’t pass and whyWe strongly believe that all parts that Mr [redacted] replaced were done as his own “preventive maintenance” and not because they were damagedIf the parts were in such bad condition he would have noticed on his first hour and a half drive home The purchase of these parts were never authorized by me or any other staff of Boston Prime Cars

This truck was originally $18,995, Mr. [redacted] made an offer of $17,500 ($1,495 below list price) after he came over, test drove the truck and visually inspected it. Before accepting his offer, I [redacted] (the owner) sent the truck for a safety check. I wanted to be sure the truck didn’t need any...

repairs before lowering the price.  Part of the safety check were 2 new tires, 1 wheel hub and a wheel alignment. Please note that wheel alignments are only performed by any alignment shop when all suspension parts are in good shape. Otherwise the shop will not be able to align the car. He’s vehicle checked good, as per alignment shop. His particular truck was serviced at [redacted], a well known and recognized shop in the area.  A couple of days after the truck was delivered to customer, I received a call from Mr. [redacted] stating that the truck wouldn’t pass inspection due to a bad ball joint. With him living a little over an hour from us and having experience as a mechanic, he asked if we could pay for the part and he would do the repair.  I said that that could be done once he could provided me with the failed inspection receipt showing what was wrong with the truck, once that was done I would order and pay for the parts under my business to use my wholesale discounts and he would be able to pick up the parts at a shop near him.  Keep in mind, a set of 4 ball joints cost around $30-$40 dollars, he only needed 1 ball joint. About a week later Mr. [redacted] called again stating that he needed more parts and giving me a higher cost, to be specific, about $550 more. Being that he was never able to provide me with the failed inspection receipt I told him that I’d rather have the truck in my shop. That is my right as a seller in the state of MA.  I am still unsure of why I never received the print out he allegedly got from the state inspection station stating that the vehicle didn’t pass and why. We strongly believe that all parts that Mr. [redacted] replaced were done as his own “preventive maintenance” and not because they were damaged. If the parts were in such bad condition he would have noticed on his first hour and a half drive home.  The purchase of these parts were never authorized by me or any other staff of Boston Prime Cars.
