I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments below.
Although they did remove my info from their system (I'm taking their word on that) and they did supply me with the name and info of the marketing company that they received my info from, they did not do it immediately upon request as stated in the response After the first contact I asked why I received the email, I was told "You responded to an email that was sent to you about getting help with your bills…" When I asked them to forward that email to me I was told "Ok, sorry…I’m just doing my jobI have let the tech department knowI’m trying to get the information for you… it is a lead supplier that it comes from though." I did not hear back but days later I received another email saying "It was a pleasure speaking with you I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on taking the first step in becoming debt free and financially independent! They did not immediately respond to me and remove all my info as indicated in their responseIt wasn't until days later, the day after I filed this complaint, that they responded and told me they removed my info and supplied me with the marketing companies infoHowever, in the first contact they stated that they were emailing me in response to an email request I sent themThat is factually not true as they later stated they were responding to info they bought from a marketing companyThen days after I requested this "email" be forwarded to me, they sent a new email stating they had spoken to me and wanted to congratulate me on taking the first stepsThis is an all out statement as we have never "spoken" about me using their service and in fact have never spoken other than electronic communicationI feel given this information, that this was not a simple mistake or miscommunicationThis appears, at least to me, to be shady, for lack of a better wordIf needed I can forward all emailsIn the end I want it noted that this was more than just a mistakeBecause of these emails and their lack of immediate response, along with the manner in how it was handled, I had no choice but to put a fraud alert on my credit reportsGoing forward this will make it harder to obtain credit as I will have to take extra steps and it will take a longer timeI also asked that they forward ALL communication to me regarding thisThey have notThey have only supplied the marketing companies information.

We are responding to the second request on this complaint in order to provide sufficient information to close this issueWe did provide the information requested by this individual but in many cases it can take a few days, we wanted to be sure we confirmed the source and also took the time to reach out to the marketing company who provided us the information to see if we could get additional detailAs a result, it caused a slight delay which was taken in good faith to be sure we had accurately responded to the requestThe emails that are being referenced are standard and usually very simply used to respond to those customers that have responded to an email and that are in fact looking for more information about our servicesThere is no more information that we can provide since we already sent the company name and contact details, and can confirm that the request to remove the contact information was deleted from our systemWe cannot control anything beyond that initial correspondence which is the cause for this complaint, and we do understand that there was a slight delay but it was intended to gather as much information as possible prior to a response.
