In response to the complain t open ed on September 2, 2014, by [redacted] , I thorou ghl y researched her accountFo llow ing is a summary: [redacted] was in default of her contract (copy enclosed) w I th BHFC Events of default: ) failed to provide proof of fu ll coverage insurance; 2) failed to maintain the Vehicl e in good cond ition and repa ir; 3) and was habitual ly late making her payments, see attached payment historyShe was over months late at the time her vehi cle was repossessed In an email sent on 8-18-14, from [redacted] , she adm itted: "The car needs a lot of work and that's why I had stopped making payments to try and get it fixed Right now it doesn'teven start and I was trying get it to a mechan ic, its eit her the starter or a l ternatorAlso, the car needs new tires, the driver side window doesn't roll down and th ere is sun spots andchopped paint basica lly all overThe a/c runs hot and was told is the compressor" BHFC sold the veh icle at auction and I 've encl osed a deficiency and demand letter that reflects the amount owed as of today's date, whi ch is $, If th e deficiency is notpaid in full, or suitable arrangements made for payment of the deficiency over time, within days of the date of this letter, BHFC wil l have no choice b ut to consi der its l ega loptions

We have reviewed your complaint Your contract calls for monthly payments You indicated that you made an agreement with us to make large payments in order to not make payments until February We find no record of this agreement, and would ask that you produce an agreement which would otherwise alter your requirement to make monthly payments Following the above minimum payments you made, you bounced two payments to us, of which I am sure you are aware In fact on or about October 6, we received an email identifying, “This payment is being sent back to my account and was an overdraft As I stated to the young lady Claudia yesterday, please do not charge my card for any payments any longer I have paid (sic) more than (sic) enough over the last two months to be given a brief hold until next month on any further payments.” The following month according to your very email would have fallen on November, but you did not make payments in November or DecemberWe are familiar with your calls, in which you were belligerent, and repeatedly cursed The final staff member who spoke to you, was attempting to send you to the legal department for a determination of what steps, if any, could be made to work out an alternative for you However, you cursed and hung up Our counsel made a call to you, but you did not answer from the numbers in the file The purpose of which was to work with you, and not to intimidate you as you allegeWe are willing to reinstate your loan for $1,000.00, which is less than the monthly payments you have missed We also expect that our customers treat our employees with respect and dignity Your depiction of the communications is totally false, and we are aware of the abusive language you used Irrespective of your decision to work out a deal to reinstate your loan, further abuse to our employees will not be tolerated

I needed help with setting up automatic withdrawals out of my bank account to make my car payments The person who answered the phone was nice and knew how to set it up in just a few minutes I couldn't remember my account number and he found it by typing in my phone number The whole thing was much easier than I thought

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The whole reason I gave the car back was because of the balance and the fact they couldn't break down the $and tell me what portion was fees, interest and actual balance owedThey then lowered the price to $saying it was the amount believed they could get at an auctionI was never given a break down and my counter offer was refusedI feel they were just pulling numbers out of a hat because I was specifically told by manager, Bob Lee, he couldn't tell me how they got the figures that the computer just figures it outAs for the condition the car was in that I mentioned in an email, was ware and tare of the vehicleI had the car since and it was always in good working conditionThe car just had recently started not wanting to start and that's why I had fallen behind trying to fix the problem no one could see to pinpoint I maintained all oil changes and minor repairs as neededThe paint had faded and developed spots over the years as well, not to mention the tires were custom rims I had put on the car and it was just time to get new ones due to milesAgain I was trying to stress at the time the fact that I had reasons for falling behind and I didn't feel that $or $was a fair deal especially since I had paid out of payments alreadyThey seem to have forgotten to mention or take in consideration that my car was torn upside down and things were stolen and also broken while in their possession, as well as my car being wrecked and severely damaged while in their possessionThe bumper on the right side was ripped up from the far right all the way to the middle of the bumper and I was never told by anyone at BHFC FinancialI didn't find out till after going and seeing the car for myself They sold the car at auction and received more than the $I should have really owed so we should be even, I'm out a car and they still got paid Regards, [redacted]

I have had an account with BHFC Financial for over years nowI cannot say enough good things about this companyI had really bad credit due to a divorceKnowing the bad credit scenario I just assume that any company I work with will have a NO TOLERANCE policyYou know no late payments, customer service people who are not wiling to work with me because I am a high risk credit customerTHAT is soooooo not the case with this companyAs long as I stay in communication with me they are always willing to work with meI really thank BHFC for helping me to improve my credit and being an awesome company! You guys rock!

on 10/23/@ 1:02pm I called asking regarding my account wanting information on it, wanting to see what I needed to do to settle or what had happen I wasnt aware of anything an this young girl transfers me a lady who claims to be the manager starts (call is recorded) yelling all ghetto at me abusing me saying I took the car to *** sayin "im gona pay an "no no no im taking this personal"!!! all kinds of nasty things I asked if she was the manager she said "yuuup" I told her I wanted to speak to someone else an she kept wanting to hang up I was talking calmley wanting to know on status or what happen I mean I still dont knw because she hung up an was soo rude shes the manager I wonder how bad she treats others I felt threaten an so bad I jus cant believe this please avoid this happening to others

If you have another option take itThis company is horribleSome of the employees are kindBut most of them are disrespectfulAnd unwilling to help you

The customer service is poorI constantly get placed on hold without warning and sent to different reps that are very rudeThey don't always listen to my concern or issueHad a problem with a payment being deducted out of my account on the wrong day but and email showing the correct day and they didn't seem to care about my issue and acted like it was my faultI will never get a car loan through this company again due to the poor customer service

I did send the attached files to  [redacted] at BHFC.. my objection is that he falsified and misrepresented himself and the requirements he needed from me. Thank you again for your comments and concerns.  I am unsure how to help you in this situation.  You have acknowledged that you were behind and that we had the right to repossess the vehicle, and you seem to be upset with the process of the repossession.  We used a company called  [redacted], and that entity is licensed by the State of Arizona to perform recovery of vehicles.  We do not employ the agents of this company, and do not control when or how they perform their services, as they are an independent contractor.  I am not sure why a repo agent would have any incentive to toy with you as you have described, but I will review this further and will likely notify them of your concerns.  Thank you.
