I recently purchased a used Sea Doo boat from NV BB. I thought they were very professional over the phone and with a 5 star rating figured I was in good hands . I left a Deposit for the the boat to hold it until I could pick it up the following weekend. I had ask John at BB about the service history and he assured me that the previous owner had services done regardless of use every season. this boat was a 08 with 9 hrs on it so I was willing and did over pay what NADA had the boat value because of what I was told It sounded to good to be true In my case it was. after getting the boat home to I went to work checking on the services that should had been done and found that nothing had been done on this boat accept spark plugs and they were gaped wrong they actually let me test drive it with original fluids in it oil,coolant,jet pump, and the most scary for this boat is a ten year old super charger
that should have been rebuilt to prevent catastrophic engine failure..
I have reached out to Boulder Boats so far I'm getting the cold shoulder..

I am sorry to hear about your concerns from our transaction. Your boat was completely inspected and compression checked as well as a preformed a flawless lake test with you to ensure all systems were functioning properly. The previous owner stated that the boat had been serviced regularly regardless of use and all we can do is take his word for it and verify to the best of our ability with our inspections. If in fact, the plugs were not gaped properly it did not affect performance enough for anyone to make not to check this. Additionally, the plugs were not original so I would suspect that the fluids would not be as well. It is nearly impossible to know that they are the original and have not been changed. We checked all fluids and they passed inspection. Grated they were not lab tested which would be over kill, especially on a motor that has only 9 hours of use. The supercharger is scheduled for maintenance at the 200 hour mark. We shared the BRP Rotax recommended maintenance schedule with you and the supercharger functioned properly. At this point is sounds as if the boat is still in good working order which I am hopeful is the case. Please feel free to reach out to me directly as I am the owner of the business. I was ready to buy my first boat and not really sure where to start. My first stop was at Boulder Boats and found Neil to be full of the information I needed to know what kind of boat I wanted without any pressure.
A month later, I shopped around more but ended up back at Boulder Boats because of the service. After making my purchase, I have to say the service is equally as great which is rare to find. From taking us out on the water to ensure we were fully trained to ongoing support in the service department... this business is top notch and beyond my expectations.
