Same Operation in Vail--Another Moses SCAM
It's a trend. Moses is "Partner" in a mirror location (La Vail Boutique) in Vail. I experienced the EXACT same trickery--luring off the street, the overpriced eye cream that is "2 year's worth" that they trick you into buying. One of the female Sales Associates "gifted me" a rinky dink looking coupon that normally is "$500." She told me that there is a VIP "to the stars" faciliast in town (enter MOSES) and I was lucky to be able to see him. Agreed--he would NOT take no for an answer. He scribbled on a piece of paper asking me bogus questions about my skincare then proceeded to try to sell me $15K worth of goods. My husband and children went home at this point and I was in the back of the store alone later at night. With product still on my face, he took my credit card. If you research any of these products, both the Vail and Boulder locations you will see everyone has had these problems. He texted me a few days later trying to sell me ANOTHER wand and $6K facial serum. These are the products you find on the shelves of TJMaxx but in nicer packaging. I have filed a police report and disputed the fradulant charges with my credit card. BEWARE.

Work there once in wild
Love the staff and stuff .
Very professional

I echo the sentiment of ALL previous reviews. I was walking on Pearl Street late January and was accosted on the street and encouraged to come inside Boulder Natural Boutique. After a long conversation with the sales rep, I was promised a facial up to $500 in value if I purchased a couple of skincare products. I (reluctantly) agreed to come back.
The next morning, super excited for my facial, I was led to a back room where all of the lights were on. I was greeted by a sleek man who I now understand is one of their top salesmen, NOT an esthetician. After light conversations during the beginning of our interaction, I shared some of my insecurities about my skin, which (Moses) ABSOLUTELY preyed on. I asked him where he went to learn about skincare, and it was clear he had no formal education or training, apart from pushing the products. He used predatory sales practices for nearly 2 hours. After much internal resistance, and 2 hours shut in the room, I finally caved and bought a very expensive laser on 3 different cards, because I couldn't afford to pay for it on one card. I told him I was buying a home and not very financially stable, but he wouldn't take no for an answer.
A previous review by another individual is an exact experience I encountered. I have been embarrassed to speak of this incident, but I can no longer stay silent.
"While the gentleman applied various products to my face, one side at a time, after first using a handheld LED device that allegedly stimulates collagen growth. When I learned that the price of the device and products totaled $15,000, I felt a sense of panic, as the gentleman would not take "no" for an answer, no matter how many times I told him the products were far outside my budget. Ultimately, I was forced to hand over my credit card for two incredibly expensive products I did not want, along with three other products he gave me for "free," ostensibly to induce me to purchase (although I later found one of the products he valued at $2,500 on Amazon for $10). The whole transaction took place not out in the open at the cash register, but in the small room at the back of the store, while I still had products on my face. I knew I was making a mistake, but I did not feel free to go unless I made a purchase. (My total purchase was $4,500 before tax) for the LED device (which allegedly retails for $7,999) but after researching the product (and seeing Revdex.com complaints about the device manufacturer), I am skeptical of its efficacy."
To make matters worse, I just received a call from Moses this weekend to my personal cell phone (6 months post-visit) demanding more money. I have requested Downtown Boulder to alert the landlord and escalate this issue to the higher powers that be. This business needs to be shut down ASAP and is a disgrace to Boulder's pristine reputation.

A wonderful skincare specialist show us the product and we finally find something that really works me and my wife using the Natural Facelift Treatments and we seeing results After Any treatment that we doing!
Thanks that you Introduce us this line of product!

Thanks a lot for your review
We doing our best to get the best products!

If I could give this place a no star review, I would. I experienced the same "wheel and deal" aggressive sales tactics as others have noted but was also highly alarmed by their lack of sanitation especially in light of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Yesterday, my girlfriends and I walked past Boulder Natural Boutique on Pearl. My two friends were lured inside with the free little white sample bag. I immediately thought this was not my jam and decided to wait for them outside thinking they'd be in there for 5 minutes max. I waited for a few minutes outside before one of the male staff strongly "encouraged " me to come inside. Once inside, I noticed NONE of the staff were wearing masks/face coverings. The unmasked sales lady talking to my friends was applying eye cream under their eyes without using gloves or even washing her hands. She put exfoliant on my hand and thank God, didn't touch my face. She also asked for a hug after attempting to work her manipulative sales magic on us and failing miserably. My friend contacted the health department this morning to file a complaint. I'm surprised that a business as sketchy, illegitimate, and blatantly dismissive of public health is operating on Pearl St!

Although it may not amount to outright fraud, Boulder Natural Boutique engages in coercive business tactics that amount to predation, if not duress.

I was given a voucher for what I understood to be a facial, at a face value of $500. When I arrived at the store, I was escorted to a small, windowless room in the back of the store and informed that I was not meeting with a professional aesthetician, but one of the company's part owners. What followed was nearly two hours of high pressure salesmanship, while the gentleman applied various products to my face, one side at a time, after first using a handheld LED device that allegedly stimulates collagen growth.

Boulder Natural Boutique has a two-day return policy and charges a 20% restocking fee. I contacted the store within the two-day window, but both the store manager and owner refused my request for a refund. I even offered to pay the 20% restocking fee (which in my case would be $900) but was still refused. They offered to exchange my products (which are still unused and in unopened packages) for different products, but after having an adverse reaction to the products I tried in-store, I am not interested in this option. They also offered to exchange my products (my total purchase was $4,500 before tax) for the LED device (which allegedly retails for $7,999) but after researching the product (and seeing Revdex.com complaints about the device manufacturer), I am skeptical of its efficacy.

I was walking in downtown Boulder when a charming and aggressive young man named Sean stopped me to push a complementary sample in a cute white bag and then lured me into the store. I was doubtful about his approach and what he was going to do.. He consistently talked and praised my beauty but said he could make my eyes look better. I had a bad feeling but decided to let him work his magic. He started telling me about the difference his magic stem cell cream is doing to improve my looks. He was “amazed” at the difference his product made but I saw no such thing. He promised me an expensive complementary facial provided I purchase the cream that he said retails for over $1000, yet at a reduced special price that was just for me ($399). He explained that I could come back for the facial in a mysterious back room. Then he started to try to sell me facial products costing $3600. I felt like I was being hustled, harassed and pushed into purchasing his products as if I was in the Arab Market in Israel. I never felt so uncomfortable in my life. This man’s sales techniques are something I’ve never experienced living in fabulous Boulder for all these years. I have seen many stores come and go, and this store seems to be running on overtime! After reading the prior negative reviews, I agree with the consensus that this man’s sales tactics have a lot to be desired. I can’t imagine why Boulder let’s this store continue to operate when it’s employees are luring people off the sidewalks. I was shown several photographs of women’s results before and after, and they were clearly photoshopped!

I agree, I feel scammed. I was lured in by a friendly man who put some fast-acting under eye cream on that worked instantly. I bought that. Then I was told there was a VIP guy who happened to have time in his schedule for a $500 facial for me, of course for free. They used paper towels & barely cleaned my skin with spray bottle & cotton balls! I then spent over 1.25 hours being talked into $15,000 worth of services, which I declined. Moses kept bartering to get me to buy something more...$3500 face lift creams, $300 skin resurfacing gels...it's outrageous. I got the under eye cream home that looked exactly like the one they applied in the store & I had NO effects. Nothing like what took place in the store where I could see the results. I was given a different product somehow in the same syringe? I'm disputing this with my credit card company as a fraudulent business.

This company is a total scam, they lure you in
And show you an instant eye product, then they "give you a facial" which makes you look fabulous. The price starts at $15,000.00! They wheel and deal with you on product and price. It may get as low as $999. But you still feel like you have been fast talked and taken advantage of by these " charming, sweet talking young men" who then feel like you owe them a hug. Beware!

The costumer bought from us product and ask for more products for the face .
After hour and half of try different products she decided to buy something
She ask to return because of too much “holiday spends “ .
We Accept the return .
Not sure what she mean
Wheel and deal . She got one product from the set . Of course it’s will be partial amount
We will like to get more details

This business uses predatory sales practices and sell products that do not even begin to meet the expectations that are provided. They have a facial studio that is likely not licensed and take advantage of women who have just received a complementary facial and are not yet fully dressed with incredibly over the top sales tactic to purchase ridiculously over priced products. They should be put out of business today. The only reason there are not more complaints is that women are embarrassed by the amounts they were coerced to spend.

Thank you for letting us know we appreciate that. we want to take care of all our Customers. We try to reach the costumer a few times, we left voicemails and text message without an answer. We want to understand the reason beyond the wrong information .our top priorities is great costumer service .We always offer training meeting to show the costumer how they should use the products at home .And always try to make sure they are ?happy with their purchase.

In fact, our record from the calendar shows that the costumer have an existing appointment in our store on Feb 09 for instructions and Larning about some of the products.

I was pressured by sales woman as I walked by the store on New Years Eve. After putting some ‘introstem’ non-surgical cream under my eyes Sean wouldn’t let me leave the chair and the store, hounding me like the fast talking salesman/entertainer he thinks he is. He sold me a damaged box of this questionable product at the inflated price $174, and I wanted to return it as soon as I escaped from the store. But I knew I had been hustled and would never be allowed to get my money back. This store is a disgrace to our downtown and I am warning all my friends and family not to walk on that side of the block! I hope the City of Boulder catches on to their shady practices and closes them down. I am disgusted.

My wife bought some cosmetic items following some quite aggressive sales tactics. it was expensive running a total of 3.700USD. She instantly regretted the purchase since she had no intention to buy anything at all but have a hard time with pressure. The return policy on the receipt stated that they will charge 20% of the retail value to return it plus restocking fee. She thought she will bite the bullet and return the next day only to hear that she would only get 400$ back since they said she got a "discounted" price but claim that the 20 % is counted on the full price.
They threw in a lot of stuff that my wife didn't ask for "for free" Most likely to be able to claim the "20% on retail" loophole if that is even a thing. Retail is what you pay, not what it used to cost.

They later changed it to 800$ when she got a police officer involved but the officer didn't know who was in the right here. The packaging is unbroken. The metods by this store are quite predatory.

We had received a response from the store with the help of the Boulder District Attorney’s office. We have come to an agreement with the company and a significant portion of my money has been refunded at thistime. The DA’s office is going to continue to keep an eye on this business. At the moment I require nofurther action.Best

This business has predatory return and customer service policies.

I bought multiple products for my wife, some of which she didn't need. Returned within an hour with original packages and was told that the "restocking" fee was nearly equivalent with the purchase price of the items. They are refusing to allow a return of untouched and unopened goods, even on the same day. I was directed to a customer service line that appears to be not active. I have called multiple times over the past 48 hours and left multiple messages.
