In resolution of the above ground swimming pool, two Henderson Pools employees got in the pool and felt the pool bottomIt was determined that the bottom was smooth and flat in most spotsThere was several areas where there were lumps and we
determined it was mulchThe mulch likely worked its way into the sand when the homeowners removed the previous pool due to the mulching around the poolWhen the new pool was installed, the mulch was raked into the sand and not visibleThe sand settled with the weight of the waterThe mulch did not, creating a protrusion in the linerHenderson Pools removed the mulch and patched the bottom of the pool in those spotsThis will prevent future leaks and allow the pool to be used without losing waterWe are monitoring the pool level and keeping an eye to make sure the pool is losing waterIf any leaks remain, we will remove the debris and patch the liner as necessary
