I am new to Worcester and I am a single mom of five with a disabled son and I went into Gala grocery store to retrieve one item of drink mix and I did not wait in line, cashed out and go outside to see a tow truck driver towing my rental car from where I assumed was the grocery store parking lot. I tried to negotiate with the driver because I been in Worcester since November 2019 and has always parked in the Same parking lot. There are no visible signs that states this parking lot does not Gala parking, it's only sign that says private property and towing enforced, which I thought were signs for the store parking customer's.. I feel that the driver sat and watched me go inside and waited to steal my car and then wanted me to pay for something that is not made known. I already have a fixed income and restricted to being able to work full time employment and then to have this happen is very unacceptable. The money that has to pay for this comes out of income I receive from my son who suffers from Muscular Dystrophy.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like an apology from the company as well as my money refunded because I was honest with him as well as I tried to be reasonable without having to pay money that I didn't have. $110 for 3 mins of me walking in a store to grab drink mix for my children. And once being towed $145 for the rental company to retrieve the car.

Dear Ms. when we tried speaking to you on the phone yesterday afternoon. I explained to you that it was a unfortunate mistake that you missed all 12 signs when parking in the Odd Fellows Apartments Permit parking only lot. You read the sign to me that said "unauthorized". The signs vary in size from 2'x 5' to a large 6'x 10' sign in English and Spanish with specific instructions that read as follows "parking for Odd Fellows Bldg only. Violators will be towed." If you had parked there before as you say then you were fortunate not to get towed. Our Drivers are directed to drive thru the property periodically throughout the day. It was a random occurrence when you parked and we came by. The conversation we had on the phone consisted of you yelling and talking over me as I tried to explain the rules of the lot. Your situation then escalated as you drew the attention of a Worcester Police Officer nearby with your behavior.. Your attempt at "negotiations" consisted of threats to my driver and the officer. WPD was forced to call for backup because of the disturbance you created. Jumping into the car after it had been lifted onto the truck and WPD having to assist in getting you out. We would have kindly spoken to you about your situation if you had not created such a disturbance . While your situation is unfortunate as a single Mom we sympathize but yesterdays atmosphere of hostility and threats wasn't conducive for any negotiations or calm conversation. We have been advised by the WPD in these situations to avoid conflict and remove the unwanted cars quickly and without conflict.
We are hired to remove unauthorized and unwanted cars from the Apartments parking lot. We are not in the position to negotiate and debate. Our records here indicate you did not pay any drop fees or impound fees. Enterprise picked up the vehicle and paid all the fees owed. You will not receive any refund.

We have the photos on file here if you need us to email them for the record.

Extremely poor customer service all around. The worst people I have ever dealt with.Did not help whatsoever with anything.Terrible company and people.
I was in a car accident. Two tow trucks showed up from this company. One guy asked whos car was whose and then screamed "get the *** out of the way" multiple times to the other driver. He did not provide them with a card or any information on how to get their car so I took a picture of the card he gave me and gave it to them. The guy that towed my car was nice and offered me a ride but I did not need one. My complaint is truly against the people who were working in the office. Two days after the accident I went to retrieve my things after the appraiser gave me the ok. When I arrived the guy at the front desk told me I could not take my plates and did not have me sign the release form. I removed my things, confused... reached out to my insurance company and appraiser and they had me return once again to collect my plates and sign the release. My insurance company believes they did that to get more money and keep the car there longer. I called twice ahead of time to explain that I would be coming to sign the release and that one of my plates was missing and the wrong plate was in my car and both times the person in the office was incredibly rude and said that they did not look for them and would look when I arrived and so low and behold I arrive, sign the release and take my back plate off to find the same wrong plate inside my car and so I returned it to them and explained my plate was probably in the other car out in the lot that we got into the accident with but they refused to go look and even lied about the car saying it wasn't there. They told me to call my insurance company and they would send me a new plate which makes zero sense but I was so frustrated and knew clearly how unhelpful they were that I decided to just leave. I should have went into the other car and just got my front plate so now I have to order a new one, send my receipt to my insurance company all because these lazy employees didn't want to work and didn't care enough to listen and just look in the car for me. They told me it was lost. This company is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of conversing with. I wish the interaction of these people on no one.

Desired Outcome

I want my front plate back or a refund for the new one I have to order.

Your accident was at a very busy intersection near the off/on ramp of *** near *** Street. We spoke to the 2 drivers that were on scene.
The first driver was speaking to the young men that were involved in the collision that were wandering in the road and interfering with removing the cars from the accident. Still no excuse to use the language that was used. He was never directing that at you.
After pulling the invoice from your accident our manager drove to the accident scene today to see if your plate was still at the scene and possibly embedded in the fence or light pole that you collided with. It was not. You watched our driver sweep up the debris from the scene and you must have also noticed the light pole. He cleaned up everything that was on the ground but did not get your plate. Plates will often travel some distance from the impact at the accident. It was not picked up by us. Managing an accident scene is never easy and can be dangerous. We try to clean up and clear the scene as quickly and safely as possible. The lost plate was not due to any actions on our part but merely a result of an unfortunate accident. You can not expect us to replace your plate.

The plate that was placed in your car belonged to another car that also had an accident and was placed in your car in error.

When the gentlemen in the office asked you if you were a part of the pile up on Belmont Street earlier that day he was referring to the 7 car accident in *** and *** Street earlier in the day. You said "yes" to him. Those cars had in fact been almost all been picked up that is why he told the car was not there.

Both cars, your Rogue and the other car from your accident were in fact still here. We checked that car for you this afternoon to make sure your plate wasn't in there. It was not in that car.

I apologize for all the miscommunications when you came in. The insurance confirmation I previously addressed about how they communicate to us. Payment must be confirmed by either the insurance companies or the customer themselves before it can be entirely cleaned out and released. We did finally hear from your company but only after they called you. We needed to be notified as well.
Having an accident is stressful enough and we certainly never intended to add to that stress. But unfortunately we are not responsible for the lost plate at your accident scene . We can only clean up what is in front of us and on the street. We do not go searching beyond the perimeter of the scene the Police have dispatched us to.

Document Attached***
I appreciate the apology on the miscommunication but I don't believe it was lost on the scene. My plate was not missing from the scene and it doesn't make sense that it wasn't picked up because I have a photo of it laying on the ground right near the other drivers car. I've attached a photo for proof. I did not see with my own eyes the tow drivers cleaning anything up but I know they did because there were other things in my car such as the broken parts of the car. No one ever asked me if I was apart of a *** street accident" I was only asked my car and my name so I would have never said "yes" to that. I now have to wait 12 weeks until Jan to receive my new plate which is illegal to drive without two plates so this has all been a really ridiculous ordeal and will prevent me from getting a car and being able to drive legally until the new year which is unacceptable. There is nothing you can do now I just will in the future if I am ever unfortunate to be in another accident will be ready to take my own plates from the car ASAP so this does not happen again. What a waste of time and money.

tow driver, took my keys and left me in an abandoned parking lot for two hours. when he arrived back.he stated he gave me keys to avoid accountability
July 10 @approx 8pm. tow driver in an attempt to avoid responsibility for loosing/taking my keys is stating he gave them to me. I was left in an abandoned parking lot for two hours. only to have a different driver come to the scene and he advised me that they are always supposed to keep the keys with the vehicle. Originally I thought the veh. would be totalled. but my car is repairable and I am very fearful. this person knows where I live and has full access to my vehicle as he has a key. . I have nothing to gain in this matter. My keys that the police gave to him are now missing. However He/his company would be liable to replace my key fob. that cost between $500 and $1000.00

Desired Outcome

I require the replacement of my keyfob immediatly.

Let us first respond to the concern that Ms. has regarding our driver knowing where she lives...Unless you told him that he has no idea who you are or where you live. We never towed your car anywhere because your husband called his own tow. The driver never collected any info from you. Not sure why you would think this poor kid would bother you. He was more afraid for his own safety after your husband threatened his well being and used racial slurs against him. All while driving his company vehicle. A direct quote from your husband was "sand n#@)#" "Find my keys you piece of *** before I bash your head in!" All witnessed by a women standing by videoing the event and our dispatcher on an open line with my driver.
We were dispatched by the WPD @ 7:25pm to a two car accident on *** Street near *** church. A residential and heavily traveled road. We arrived at approximately 7:45pm with one truck. We moved the Audi off the street into a parking lot. The officer was there along with a women Ms. was with. She was carrying two bags.My driver had to take the first car to the impound and advised MS. he would return for her car. He handed her the keys. She said she was going to sit in her car. When a 2nd driver of ours was free he then arrived on scene with a flatbed for her car approximately 15 minutes after the 1st driver left. The first driver came back approximately 20 minutes later to assist our flatbed driver. It was then that Ms. Besses husband was on scene and on the phone with our dispatcher getting a price for the tow to a repair shop. When Ms. could not produce her keys Mr. began to scream at my driver and accuse him of "throwing the keys in the woods." He threatened him as mentioned above. He told our dispatcher it was their only set of keys and we better find them. Our driver was advised by the dispatcher to clear the scene as to avoid any further abuse from Mr..
We called the body shop where the car was towed to and I was told that they had the keys and the car was being repaired. We also tried to speak to Mr. on the phone to ascertain why he was so angry and threatening to make sure he did find his keys etc. The call was short as Mr. continued his cursing and angry tirade upon my day manager. WPD I#XXXXX can be verified and documented. Mrs. was never in harms way nor did we leave her in an unsafe area waiting for 2 hrs. We will not be replacing any keys. The body shop confirmed the customer had their keys at 10:30am on 07/11/19.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was left in an abandoned parking lot for two hours. this can be verified with earlys towing. who responded to our request for tow, 10 min. after refusing to allow boulevard to touch my car. The process of getting my veh on the flat bed was painful to watch because they did not have a key because boulevards driver took it with him. Yes this vehicle was sold to me with two keys and I am seeking the reprogramming of the vehicle keyfob system and will need two keys, We did bring the 2nd set of keys to the shop the next day at their request so they could move the vehicle. My vehicle is repairable and I feel unsafe knowing that this company/driver has a set of keys to my vehicle. I have nothing to gain in this situation however this driver absolutely does. the other driver who was very professional stated that they have a very clear policy that keys must stay with the veh. In an attempt to avoid accountability this driver and this business is not taking responsibility for taking/loosing my key, leaving me on the side of the road for two hours, outside a locked car until my husband arrived after 9:30 pm. Yes he was upset, any husband would have been. To slander someone to the extent this business owner is , is another weak attempt to avoid responsibility. I am seeking full restitution.

Boulevard Garage Response • Aug 09, 2019

We stand by our original statement and our employees. The key was given to the customer at the scene. She apparently misplaced it. We are not trying to avoid responsibility for anything. Your husband was upset that is understandable. But his behavior was unacceptable and threatening someone physically with racial slurs was terrible. All the while driving his company vehicle. He stated more than once on the phone to our dispatcher it "was our only key" that's why he was so upset. This is your attempt to slander our company because we complained to Allstate Insurance the company your husband works for. The situation was stressful enough because she had an accident, her husbands behavior made it all the worse.
We are sorry she had the accident of course and glad she was not injured. But we will not be bullied or slandered any further.

Customer Response • Aug 14, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First I am not making false statements, there is no slander on my part. I am stating the facts period.
I was left in an abandoned parking lot for over two hours. My personal safety was put at risk when your driver/dispatcher intentionally left me there with NO keys to my car. Yes, my husband has dealings with your company and that may have been ***'s motive to slander him. Again, I was still speaking with law enforcement when your driver jumped in his vehicle, stating he would be back in 10 minuets. I was NOT given my keys. Yes, your driver absolutely knows my address, my registration was on the front seat. Additionally, he is not a " kid " as you refer to him. he is a grown man operating heavy equipment under contract with the city of worc. and if hearing someone repeatedly asking him "where are my keys" rattled him so profoundly, maybe being a tow truck operator is not for him. Im sure not everyone he has towed wanted to get towed and on occasion would be upset. I wanted a tow and couldn't get it. I would also like to add that when he did show up two plus hours later with his girlfriend, he was towing a vehicle, that means he was told to leave me there by his dispatcher. Also, this video must have a date and time stamp. I would be curious if it was taken after 10 pm. yes. Additionally, I was quoted $250.00 prior to his deserting me in that abandoned parking lot and was towed by Earlys towing for $75.00 The charges in my opinion were inflated to say the least. Again, my 2nd set of keys were at my house over an hour from where I was left in an abandoned parking lot and no, my husband didn't bring them with him. He would have had no reason to believe he would have needed them. Again, my car is repairable, getting fixed as I write this. I need my keyfob replaced. I will pursue this to every extent of the law. The truth will prevail. I will continue to document my experience through every social media outlet I have available to me and ask my friends to share, until my very reasonable requests for compensation are met.

Terrible customer service. These place should train his employees.
The guy sitting on the front desk collecting the money on *** 2019 it's an embarrassment not only for the business but in general. This guy I used was *** and used profanity. Stood up was aggressive and threatened. Along with all his derogatory comments like "***" he three times used sentences like "go back to whatever you are from" everything is recorded. Certainly this place gives a terrible name to the bureau which insures the right practice of business. There were two gentlemen working, one was polite and the other one is the one describe above.

Desired Outcome

I want an apology from this individual and the minimum should be a refund after such a treatment. I could take this individual to court for discrimination. I am an American Citizen even though I wasn't born in this country. An older man should never talk to a woman in the way he did.

Boulevard Garage Response • Jan 22, 2019

We are actually glad that she contacted us so we could address this. This customer came in our back door. Trespassed thru the impound yard. When asked to come inside she began cursing and using the most vulgar language before we could even ask her what car was hers. She continued to berate our employees with vulgarities. My dispatcher finally responded with "nice mouth" which made her even madder. There was not talking to her. No reasoning. She was angry when she came in to get her car that was towed by the Worcester Police and she left angry. One of our employees tried to calm her down just to get her to pay and leave but she continued yell some awful things. Sexual comments etc. Our dispatcher told her she was no lady and yelled back at her at the end out of frustration but never called her any vulgar names or racial remarks. The situation is never pleasant when your car is towed in a snow storm but our employees do not deserve to be yelled at berated and cursed at with such vulgarity. The behavior of this customer was so unpleasant. We will not be refunding any money to this customer as it was a valid WPD snow ban tow. Thank you.

Boulevard Towing is the worst place I have ever dealt with! Our company had an accident and they were called to tow our tractor trailer. The trailer was totaled but the tractor was still drivable. They would not release the tractor until the bill, which was outrageous, was paid in full by the insurance company. They basically held our tractor hostage, which correlates to lost time and money on present and future jobs. The insurance company told us that the check was going to be released that day and that they would call Boulevard to verify. Two of our employees went to pick up the tractor and they were unwilling to release the tractor. The owner of our company called and wanted to speak with the owner. He was told that he was in Florida and "sorry we can't help you". My boss tried to further explain to Jeff, who was an extremely rude person, that we were losing business due to the loss of the tractor. Jeff then annoyed said "well now I'm going to wait until the check clears before I release the tractor". He then hung up on the owner of the company. I have NEVER dealt with a company that behaved in this manner before and I've been in the construction business for 24 years. I don't typically write reviews but I thought it important to warn others not to deal with Boulevard Towing in Worcester.

Boulevard Garage Response • Jan 04, 2019

Dear Christine,
Your two drivers came to Boulevard Towing to pick up your truck and trailer but the check had not been received. Just because an insurance company says they are sending payment out does not mean it will be paid. We have several occasions where there were mitigating circumstances that changed the payment status.
It has been our policy for years with accidents tows and insurance claims that vehicles are not release for pick up until we are paid in full. Your two employees came here prior to us receiving payment. When it was explained to you and your insurance company several times our policy of releasing vehicles. Your two employees began to berate and complain to our dispatcher about the bill etc. It was already being paid by your insurance company but two of your company's employees felt it necessary to harass our dispatcher and manager while they were trying to work. We had to ask them to leave. It wasn't our fault your insurance check had not arrived yet.
It is unfortunate when someone had an accident and their truck is down. That is absolutely a loss, when you could be making money. Your insurance company kept the two vehicles (tractor and trailer) here in the impound. If they felt like it was something you could drive and save them money on storage perhaps they would have proceeded with the payment quicker. That's not for us to say. Your insurance company could have paid for the tractors release sooner but they did not.
If you felt someone was rude here then we apologize . We want to try and make it as easy as possible for you and your company. We kept in touch with your company and insurance company and updated them as the claim proceeded. We took photos and sent them to your towing company. We assisted them with the release to make it easier. We even called you after the pick up to say your guys forgot something and do you want us to hold it for you?
In the construction business you may be able to wait to get paid but in the 90 years we've been in business it is out policy to get paid for such a labor intensive recovery such as this.

After towing my 17 yr old and his vehicle, the company threatened to drop him and his car by the side of the road.
On *** my son was in an accident. The state trooper called the towing company. I asked the state trooper(over the phone) if we could tow to our facility. The trooper said no problem and told the driver (Boulevard Towing) where to tow. In a few minutes my 17 yr old child calls me and tells me that they will NOT tow him where I want him to be towed. They want to bring him to their own garage (obviously, once the car gets to their garage - you pay for storage).
I asked to speak to the driver - who first of all was rude and second told me that he doesn't care and has to tow to Boulevard garage. I proceeded to explain to him, that we have no insurance for towing and if I need to pay for this to please tow to my facility. The driver was very angry- All this while he has my 17 yr old in his care. After screaming at me he told me that he will drop off my child and his car on the side of the road. By this time I was having a coronary (driving into Worcester). The driver finally relented and drove to the facility which I specified - which by the way was 2.4 miles away from the Boulevard garage.
When he got there he was very angry. He asked for my credit card (which I gave him) and billed me.
108.00 for towing - fair price
25.20 for towed mileage - ok I'll let it go
3.00 for other - ok?
and $90.00 for storage
but storage was crossed out and cleaning was written above. Really? You couldn't get your money for storage so you charged me $90.00 for cleaning? So in other words they received their money one way or another. I'm very disgusted with how my kid and I were treated(especially since he is a minor)
I am considering contacting the State Police as well. Screaming at your client while having the control of having him and his car and threatening to leave him by the side of the road is unacceptable. I will not let this go. I want others to know what kind of company this is.
By the way, I did contact Boulevard unfortunately the "manager" was too busy to speak with me.
Boulevard Ticket number XXXXXX

Total price paid

Desired Outcome

I would like an apology for what occurred and an adjustment for what was billed. I don't have a problem paying for services. I do have a problem when someone is deliberately ripping me off and there's nothing I can do because in all reality I'm there with my minor child and an out of control driver (not a very safe situation, is it)

First of all we would like to apologize if you or your son felt like you were treated poorly. That is never our intention especially in such highly charged emotional situations like an accident. I would like to add some responses to your account of the events as I believe some details were omitted. When a MSP trooper dispatcher sends us to an accident scene there is an expectation for us to be paid if a customer wants a car to be towed any where besides our impound yard. If it came to the impound, customers will usually sort out the details with insurance or tow it out immediately if they have none. In your son's case he told my driver that he had no money on him to tow it to Linders. You were told over the phone as we approached *** Street the we don't take credit cards over the phone and it was 4:50 pm and Linders closed in 10 minutes. We would not have made it there in time. My driver then received a threatening phone all from your husband as well. The details were explained to him as to you that we don't' take cards over the phone and you would have to pay inside the office. Now after being shouted at by you and your husband it sounds like the driver then became frustrated and made some remark about dropping your son off somewhere. I can assure you that would have never happened and he said that purely out of frustration after being berated by your husband because you didn't understand we couldn't take your card.

As far as the charges are concerned they are all set by the state and were charged correctly. The "other" charge you referred to was a fuel surcharge and is also set each month by the state. The bill should have said f/c next to that fee. The box that was used to itemized your clean up fee after the accident is justified. It was an accident scene and the MSP don't appreciate us leaving any sort of debris behind. There is not a box on the tow slip for "clean up" so the driver scratched out storage and used that box. It has nothing to do with lack of storage we would have collected from you. Your remarks are unfair in that regard. My dispatcher said you came into the office and paid the fee made no complaints to him and the car was removed.

We try our very best to keep get the drivers safely off the road and explain their options to them after an accident. We have been doing this along time. Unfortunately, we don't see people at their very best. After an accident, especially when a young person is involved it can be very upsetting.
Again, I apologize if my driver was not communicating clearly the options to you. I hope that your son is okay after the accident.

Customer Response • Nov 26, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Absolutely, You should have an expectation to be paid right away for your services. And I was MORE than happy to pay for your services. (Right away) However, I think it is you that does not have the complete story.

It is correct that my son did not have any money on him. No 17 yr old does. That is why I was trying to speak with the driver. To arrange payment among other things. It is also correct that it was 4:50 and Linders closed at 5pm. It is INCORRECT that the driver could not make it to Linders on time (which was closer from the accident than your facility)
Your truck with your driver made it to Linders before closing time. Please don't offend my intelligence. Obviously your truck made it since I paid for the tow. And NO, I never went to your office to pay for the tow. The payment was taken at Linders over the phone. Please get YOUR facts straight.

If the problem was paying with my credit card at your facility, then you should have told me that and my kid would have been dropped off at Linders while I went straight to your facility to pay for it. I was on the highway coming into the city (because of the accident). It did not matter where I went to make the payment. My only concern was towing my child and his car to my facility(which I have used for over 20 years)
(I seriously doubt this is about getting paid)

Unfortunately the payment nor the place of payment was ever discussed during the conversation with your driver because he was very adamant that he HAD to tow to his facility. (I guess those are the expectations of your drivers)

And now I'll tell you exactly how I feel. You have the "policy" of paying cash. Why? Because NO ONE ever has the cash, that is why you TOW to your facility. In a world where one picks their own towing company (NO ONE would pick you) no one carries cash in 2018. Since people do not have a choice on the highway and the state police calls you. You have all cars towed to your facility for one reason only. So you can charge impound fees. Because the driver couldn't charge for the impound he had to figure out something else and charge for "cleaning". And by the way. Yes, I talked to the driver and he told me" he will tow to his facility and then I can have a free tow from my AAA to where ever I wanted. But if he tows to where I want it then it will be $50 bucks more expensive" So I told him,I'd pay the extra. Guess what, $50 obviously wasn't enough.

So Yes, Now I'm really upset because all I needed was an apology. Sorry, the driver had a rough day and we're a stand up company. We'll take the $80 bogus part off your bill. Anything really.

Obviously I expected too much.

I was over charged for a tow
on Friday may 4th my car was towed from 624 main street. there is a sign stated that the lot was permit packing only. I do not disagree with that. the sign also says however, that it will cost $130.00 to get my car back. When I got to boulevard towing I got my $130.00 out. they then told me that the sign was old and that it is now $145.00. I thought that what is posted is the cost. if the sign is old and outdated, then is the lot still just permit parking. I feel that since nobody bothered to update the sign, that is not my fault. I would like at least my $15.00 dollar back if not the whole sum, seeing it was boulevard towing that told me that the sign is outdated.the number of my receipt is XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

i want them to update the sign and provide me the refund i deserve

Boulevard Garage Response • May 29, 2018

Dear Mr.
We attempted to explain to you while here in the office that the property owner posted those signs you have referred to. We have several times requested to have them either amended or taken down. They are not under our control as I explained to you. The price that was posted on the signs does not reflect the current price that the State of Mass. allows us to charge for involuntary towing from that location. We have had other complaints regarding the same matter. On May 7th the signs were finally changed and no price is reflected, just a warning about not parking there if not a permit holder. When you called on the day of the tow we advised you of the correct price verbally with that phone call prior to your arrival at *** Street. We Advised you that the price posted was incorrect and you would need the proper amount. Also indicated we had an ATM if needed.
I will be unable to refund you the $15.00 you are requesting because you were advised of the price and charged the proper state regulated fee.
The property is not under our control and those signs were posted as courtesy for any people that may park there in error. The property owner is not required to post a price as in a retail situation he is however required to post a warning about parking etc. The property owner has since amended the signs.

My vehicle was damaged by Boulevard Garage during the course of the company towing my vehicle.
On or about 02/18/2018 my vehicle, 2014 black Kia Optima, was parked on *** Street without any damage to the front right tire or wheel. The vehicle was subsequently towed by Boulevard Towing on 02/18/2018 at approximately 7:40 A.M. EST per the tow slip provided by Boulevard Towing.

I arrived at Boulevard Towing at approximately 11:00 A.M. EST to take possession of the vehicle described. I paid Boulevard Towing in full a total of $140 at 11:17 AM EST (per the tow slip provided with this letter) in order to take custody of my vehicle. I was then allowed to recover and observe my vehicle and discovered the vehicle was damaged. The front right tire and wheel sustained damages. Please reference the pictures provided along with this letter which displays the damages described. Upon discovery of said damages I approached the office area to report the damages incurred. An employee of Boulevard Towing identified himself as the individual who towed my vehicle. The individual proceeded to walk with me to view the damages incurred by the vehicle. We attempted to call you after receiving your letter to resolve the matter and you became a bit aggressive and rude on the phone. We wanted to ask why after you observed the vehicle was damaged did you drive it out of the impound and not come see us in the office? Your drove the car in the street and over to the office and further damaged your car. You mentioned to our driver that you had "just put air in the tires" the night prior to it being towed. Indicating to us there was a previous issue. We reviewed the photos you provided with our mechanic and the techs at *** where your car was repaired. It was their professional opinion from the jagged edges and marks on the rim of your car that you most likely hit a very sharp rock or pothole prior to the tow on 02/18/18. The comment by our driver that he would have damaged the car further was misunderstood by you. He was trying to say that if a tow truck with the wheel lift had hit your car it would have sustained a different kind of damage. The tow truck wraps around your tires and does not come in contact with the rims. if it had the tire would look differently than it does. This damage was not from towing the vehicle and we will not be reimbursing you any damages you may have paid for repairing your car.
