Review: Dwight L[redacted] (realtor) demonstrated unethical process while managing our contract for negotiating an agreement for purchase of property. He failed to inform us of another offer posed to the sellers AFTER we were in negiotiation for the property. He then informed us that he was never told of the other offer, which calls in to question the ethics of his boss, Art B[redacted] who is an owner of the company. Dwight contacted us by text at 4:45AM to inform us that another offer had been accepted. When we called to confront him and ask some questions, he actually laughed at [redacted]. [redacted] then told him that he left us no choice but to file a complaint against the practices that we saw displayed during this process. Dwight then called back about 5 minutes later to apologize. Obviously, he is concerned that either he will be reprimanded or that the company will be called out on its unethical handling of real estate negotiations.Desired Settlement: Provide proof of when/if the other offer was disclosed to Dwight L[redacted] and a promise from the agency that policies in the future will reflect this as poor practice so no one else has to go through this with the Bowen Agency. An apology in writing from the company would also be appreciated.
