[redacted],As you may or may not know, Tax Time in February is our busiest time of year.  We normally do 4 times the sales of any normal month.  You yourself bought in February 2016.  This means our shop gets overwhelmed with customers wanting little repairs done on their...

vehicles in March.   The normal turnaround time to complete a transmission repair is 2 to 3 weeks.  It took us 4 weeks to get your vehicle repaired and back to you.  This is due to two reasons.  First, We could have allowed Transmission Service to order you a new transmission but that would have cost approximately $3000.  Our final repair was $1614 and we were able to finance it for you for just $200 down payment (which we do for all customers financed with us).  The second reason was our fault and caused us to be about a week late. My Service Manager did not get the transmission ordered properly.  As soon as this was discovered we immediately told you and got it ordered.  [redacted] promised you to have it end of the week which would have been the 25th and due to illness of my technician, it was done two working days late on the 28th.  I feel that even though we were a bit slower than we originally intended, saving you almost $1400 and financing your repairs more than makes up for a mistake we admitted to and apologized for, as soon as it was discovered.  I do not feel that Bowers Auto or it's employees are unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, or inconsistent as you called us in your desired settlement.  We are however, human and not perfect.  I am glad you got your car back on March 28th for the $200 down payment we agreed to, and I apologize for the 8 day delay from when we originally told you.  I hope we can make it up to you next time and keep you on for as a customer for many years to come.Sincerely [redacted]OwnerBowers Auto Inc.

Customer purchased a vehicle from us and did have a check engine light come on.  We had it taken to an external shop and repaired at no cost to the customer.  It did take longer to repair than it should have, but we loaned him one of our vehicles to drive.  After he picked the vehicle...

up, it did quit on him.  However at no time was his life in danger.  He considers walking across a bridge to be life threatening.  He had it taken to a Columbus Dealership that we are not affiliated. Their service department told him it was out of gas and needed to be jumped off (I assume the jumping off was due to continually trying to crank it after it stopped).  He believes that is not the problem.  I told him to pick it up and bring it to Bowers Auto and I would personally drive the vehicle and if anything major was wrong, we would trade him out of the vehicle.  He refused to do this and left the vehicle at the dealership in Columbus.  We feel we have done all we could to help him.
