under the location of the splash block for the downspoutThe splash block that was there can be seen in the third picture I attachedGiven my previous interactions with this customer, I am not surprised that she would file a complaint about such a small issue without contacting me firstIf the splash block has not been returned to its previous location, I would be happy to send someone to place it and then the small repair would not even be seenWhen I quoted this work I specifically asked if they were more concerned with appearance or functionBoth **and *** *** stated that function was the main issueIf they would have been concerned with appearance, there are multiple choices of color, stamped, troweled and other techniques to finish concrete.This was a square foot concrete pad that was intended to address the water issues they were having as well as help them with the inches of dog droppings we had to clean out to do the workShe is now complaining about an area of less than one square foot hidden under a splash block. Stating my position is not arguingOnce again the complainant is stating things that are simply not trueI stated that I have full time employeesOnly one other who can install tileThat employee is finishing up another jobI cannot make a tile installer appear out of thin airMy business is not "shut down", we are simply not able to install tile without a tile installerThe work is more than 3/finished and less than 2/of the total amount have been paidThe complainants position is unreasonable as she demands I do something impossible to do

The homeowner was told on Friday that the workers
grandmother passed away and that he would be in Delaware for two to three days
for the funeralI explained to the customer that I only have two men who work
for me that can do tile work and that the second man is finishing another job
That I
could not pull him from that job to work on hers as that would not be
reasonable to the other customerThe complaint about the drop cloths and runners
that were left was a legitimate complaint and this is against company policy I was at her home approximately minutes
after her phone callI cleaned up the materials and equipment which she
threatened to throw out on the curbI also offered to clean up the floorsIn fact,
my employee was standing there with floor wipes in his hand and the offer was
rejectedI explained the circumstances to the homeowner, the son-in-law and
another woman who I believe was the daughterA multitude of un-true statements
were made by the complainant concerning the work and its processI offered to
have another tile installer there by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latestThis
offer was also rejectedI stated that we were at an impasse as I could not
simply make a tile installer appearWe removed our equipment and our materials
and leftThis is not the resolution I would have hoped for, but there is
nothing else I can doI believe the complainant is very unreasonableThe
bathroom was demolished by someone else prior to my work and was un-usable for
at least two weeks or more prior to our startBeing delayed or days due to
a death and funeral is not much to ask for a person with even the least amount
of compassionThe complainant’s response was “That is not my problem”The

I am rejecting this response because: continuing dialogue  only serves to keep an ugly situation fresh. Today, is another gift from God to move on with my life.  I hope to not have the need to speak of or hear of Bowie Home Improvement, Inc  again.   Forgive those who trespass against me.
