After searching the Internet, attending the Western Mass. Home Show in March, and talking to various contractors we chose Bowlen's Carpentry to construct our 2 car garage. Tom was hands-on throughout the building process. Starting with the prep work, removing unwanted bushes and basketball hoop, to the last detail, doorknobs with locks, he was always available to answer any question or concern.
Tom kept us informed when various craftsmen, concrete, electrician, etc.or inspector would be coming and what they would be doing. The garage was built according to the agreed plan, in the time promised, and at the contracted price. There were no surprises of price increase or delay due to unavailability of materials. Quality materials were used throughout the building. He was even able to match the color of the siding which has been on our house for over 10 years.
Tom and his crew were hard working professionals, even in the 90+ heat and humidity of July. They did a wonderful job building our garage.

We met Tom Bowlen at the home show in March 2016. We talked to everyone that builds decks at the show, got a bunch of quotes too. But Tom impressed us with his knowledge, was up to the task and reasonably came up with a way to do the little customizing I wanted. We also changed something mid-stream and he just flowed with it and adapted for us. We are extremely pleased with the outcome, his work ethic is excellent. The deck is awesome! My wife and I love it!
