I needed a tailgate for my Chevy SilveradoI took it to Bowman auto bodyIt took him months to finally get it painted after numerous stops and complaintsAt one time, I suggested I pay him for the tailgate and supplies and take it somewhere elseHe refused to let me do that stating he would have it done tomorrowTomorrow came, not done, said he would have it the next dayNope not doneThis, after waiting monthsHe then said, stop on Friday, it will be doneI stopped at 5:I paid the bill while his kids put the tailgate onI drove awayNext day I stopped at the feed store to purchase feedI noticed the paint on the tailgate did not match the truckI drove to BowmansBob first stated it was a hard color to matchHe even stated he had the paint company tryHe then went inside, came out and said they painted it that color on purpose because as it gets older, it will fade and match the original truck colorI called BSBob wasn't interested in fixing it and I wasn't interested in letting him have the tailgate for another monthsI stopped payment on the credit card hoping to get Bob to reimburse me for the paint jobI offered to pay for the tailgate and pay him the difference from getting the tailgate repaintedHe declinedThe credit card company paid him because I was not willing to let him paint it againI thought I would get over it but every time I walk behind my truck, I see the bad paint jobThe paint really does not matchBob Bowman seemed to care lessWhat really frosts me, he waves at me like we are buddies every time we pass on the street

I've been taking my vehicles to Bowman's for well over a decade. And there is a reason why. Bobby Bowman has always fixed my cars based off estimates beforehand and often times well before he said issue would be resolved. Not only is he timely, but he has always treated me like family. I am from Chicago. Business like Bobby's are a rarity and I always feel secure bringing issues to Bobby because he always gets things done. I recall one time in particular - it was snowing, had side door damages caused by a deer hitting my vehicle. I showed up five minutes to close and one of their employees (last name [redacted]) came out immediately - overly friendly and quickly fixed my door issue. FREE. OF. CHARGE. Why? "Because your family." You need a reason to have your vehicle fixed at Bowman's? You don't have to venture far to realize the great service you will be given. Ive had Bowman's work on three of my cars. Never once have I had a problem. He is the real deal.
