Review: On Saturday Night 7/**/13; My husband, daughter and I parked at the Showbiz Parking LLC (Lot) [redacted]. (According to the satelite photo's it's the same lot as the one identified as 45th St Parking, but the above address was listed on the receipt) My husband is in a wheelchair, so he has a roof top carrier on his car. We had a coupon for [redacted], but they would not take the car because of the roof top carrier. They sent us to this open lot down the street. We were told upon entering that the Parking would be $49.50 for the evening. The posted sign was for $42.23 plus tax. This rate is posted on their sign for 'up to 10 hours'. When we returned to our car, I gave them the $49.50 that I had put aside for parking. They then told us the cost was $60. We told them that we were quoted $49.50 when we entered the lot. First they said the extra cost was for taxes, then when we challenged that because of the posted sign, they said the extra cost was because we came back after midnight (it was 12:15 AM). Of course we challenged that too because the sign said 'for a 10 hour period of time'. Then they decided, after we asked for the manager, to tell us the extra cost was for the oversized vehicle. Well our car is a regular sized sedan with a roof top carrier which is being parked in an outside lot! What is oversized about that was our question. They told us to go to the front of the parking lot and speak to the manager. THERE IS NO MANAGER until morning. We called the Police, but were told that there was nothing they could do for us, we were lucky our car was still where we parked it and we got it back safely! But he gave me the Revdex.com information and were were told it was our only recourse. So I'm writing to you for this purpose, to lodge a complaint against this parking garage/lot. We ended up paying the $60 because it's the only way they would give us our keys. This practice is totally wrong! Another 2 couples had a stamped card which said their parking would be $20, they ended up paying $50. They also waited for the police to come but ended up paying the $50, because they didn't want to continue to wait for the police. It's obvious there is a problem. Can you please follow up with this and let me know if there is any follow up. And I would like the parking garage to honor the rates that they quote according to their posted signs.

At this time, my complaint, ID [redacted] regarding Bowser 45th Street Parking Corp. has been resolved. The owner contacted us for more information and I tried to call him back. I left messages for him but I didn't hear back from him again. In the mean time, He sent us a check for the disputed amount of $10.50. So I considered the issue resolved. Then this last week we received another check for the same amount of $10.50. So I'm not sure why we received 2 checks, but I'm happy to accept them given the time and aggravation that has transpired over this issue. I'm happy that I ended up calling the Revdex.com for action.
