Boxdrop Lodi

In July of 2019 my fiancé and I bought a reclining leather sofa and a queen size mattress and box spring from boxdrop Lodi. Upon getting the furniture and bed home we unwrapped the sofa and noticed large scratches in the material of the couch. A large piece of wood also fell out of the bottom of the frame upon maybe the 5th time sitting on it. The bed was fine. We contacted boxdrop immediately and sent pictures of the damage. We were told they would order another sofa and make an exchange.
They also agreed to deliver it. They said it was ordered and that it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. 8 weeks went by and we had not heard from them. We reached out and they said that the truck drivers were on strike and that was the reason for the delay. Several weeks later we were told the couch was discontinued from production so it could not be ordered. They said they would mail us a refund check for $949.50 and that we would get it in one week. We never received it. We offered to just do an even exchange, a bedframe in place of the refund to make things easier. They said that would work fine and sent us pictures and had us pick one out, telling us it would be here in 6 to 8 weeks. 8 weeks go by and we have not heard from them so we message them again. We were told that the owners wife’s grandmother passed away and they were out of town. Another week goes by and we ask if the bed frame is in yet. We were told that the order was still in process and that they would find out more information about the location of the frame. More time passed and we didn’t hear anything from them. They would not answer our calls. So finally we were fed up and asked them to just give us a refund like they had promised previously. They text us pictures of the check and the envelope with my address stating they would drop it in the mail. Two weeks went by, still no check for the refund on the sofa. We have a long history of messages and pictures saved to prove our whole situation with Boxdrop.
