I found this company on Facebook marketplace advertising mattresses on sale. Numerous listings for $100 and $200 mattresses. They were only taking appointments. They scheduled the time, knew what I was looking for but told me they sold out by my appointment time. We still opted to purchase at a much higher price. Was told pay $50 down and pay it off interest free 60 days. $699.00
Have contacted the comp[any to pay off only to be told the balance is over $800.00.
Reached out and asked that the sales rep who gave us the "special price" call to discuss. Response was we're out of town until Monday. So I asked for him to please call at his earlest convenience to discuss. Not sure what the extra fees or charges are but state tax is 7%.
I feel like the advertising should state prices starting at XXX and while supplies last. Don't trick people to get them in your store, which I was. Took time off work to go drive an hour there and an hour back.
Also, if there were fees to process payments etc. this should've been made clear. I told the sales rep I want to pay this and be done, I don't want a note or worry with it later. Had I not gotten rid of my old mattress, I probably would return for a full refund and go elsewhere.
We did our due diligence with this customer.The customer sees all facts and figures before they agree to the purchase. We tell the customer and ACIMA tells the customer they must switch to the 90 day option. The account is in her husband ***s name and I explained in great detail that the 699 did not include tax. The message that the customer sees and approves tells them this and is Cleary on the contract before they take the merchandise.
This cuatomer yelled at my son who is 16 and gave me a bad review on Facebook then bought anyway thanking me for giving them such a great deal. No one made them and no one made them finance. I am sorry the customer is upset but I will not refund the customer for a quality product they chose to purchase.
I do everything by appointment due to the healthcare crises. Everything is first come first serve. When I showed *** without *** he said he did not like the 200 mattress even if I had one and wanted something better. His choice.
I was out of town when she messaged me and even told them to call us on Monday. It is Wednesday so instead of giving us time to resolve she contacted the Revdex.com. Really, I can understand if repeated attempts or even came in the store to resolve but...
I am sorry if *** does not understand marketing. Dealerships advertise trucks for 99 a month, less than one percent gets that deal because if they listen carefully it states stipulation on why you get that deal. I do not understand why she cannot reach out for resolution the mattress was purchase only a week and a half ago and this is the first I have seen about how she felt. Please call 601-*** if any additional questions. I sold over 1200 mattresses last year and this is my first Revdex.com complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:
I absolutely did not scream at your child. He said you sold out and the cheapest option was $729 or we could try back on Monday. I said no Thank you we made an appt and understand inventory but someone could’ve text and said what I was coming for sold out. Yes my husband did go back in and spoke with the older gentleman who sold us one for $699 + tax. taxes are 7% in this state. Paid $50 something that day. Waited for the email to pay it off the next Friday so there would be no interest. Had I been told there would be extra fees etc I would have paid in full that day.
I messaged thru fb and asked for my husband to be called with a response “we’re outta town until Monday “ I said ok please have him call at his earliest convenience. That didn’t happen. the issue here is that there’s too many people running advertising, the store and making appts. my husband asked me to remove this bc this is their livelihood and I almost did until I saw the reply. lastly I did write a review on google and revised it. I wrote no review on fb. I did a rating. my question is in what world does $699 + tax equal $800 something.
no I wasn’t there for the whole conversation between the men bc I was planning to just leave but my husband is a sucker for a sales pitch. When he called me in there and explained the “great deal “ I told him I want no bill I want to pay and be done with it. The rep heard this and said oh just do it through your bank. It’s interested free. Which might be true but I wasn’t told about any fees

I am truly sorry you feel this. I called and spoke to *** and explained the whole thing. He was fine. I also told *** if he had any problems to call me directly.
I also explained to *** how the financing worked and he said he understood. *** obviously cannot be made happy and her husband said that she has a habit of giving bad reviews and trying to destroy businesses. This is my livelihood and all I can do is apologize.
