In March I signed a one year contract with Boxing Inc After a few months I injured my wrist there due to improper training and could no longer use the gym Shortly after that I also ended up moving out of the state Even though I didn't attend the gym for months I continued to pay my balance due to the contract However, I called and emailed them saying please cancel my membership once the contract is up Now they are saying that they didn't cancel my membership because I never sent them a signed letter in the mail and owe them months pay This is very unethical practice and I have heard similar complaints from other people Boxing Incis now threatening to go to collections

on November 8, 2017, I signed up to take boxing lessons as it was a "bucket list" desireOn November 10, I found out through an MRI of my spine that I had severe, debilitating issues that prevented me from this activity At my doctor visit, when I told my doctor I had signed up for boxing, he said no way and wrote a letter to Boxing Inc stating that I was unable and could not participate in this activityon or about November 16, 2017, I took the my doctor's letter and a copy of the MRI report to Boxing Incstating that I could in no uncertain terms participate in this activityThey said they would get back to meI have gone to their place of business at least times asking for my refund to no availThey have given me the run-around/brush off since November 16, It is now January 8, I need help getting my refund backThank you
Employee gave misinformation concerning contract ending requirements
A contract for the gym was signed in Octfor yearEmployee explaining contract specified that no action was needed at the end of the contract to terminateI noticed that charges were still being taken after my ending dateI went into the gym to resolve and the employee helping me had me sign a cancellation noticeI was billed again (now 3x without using the services) and disputed the charge with my bankI got a call from the gym telling me to remove the dispute or I would automatically get another year's contract Trying to resolve it on the phone the employee stated "this is going in circles so I'm hanging up" and hung up on me Not one employee tried to work with me or apologize for any mjust blaming me for not looking closelyI admit I didn't read the tiny print because the employee explaining the contract was very specific about not having to do anything when it expiredIt seems this gym is
