I am rejecting this response because:Whoever taught the employees there training at this store is completely wrong I will make sure everyone knows about the incedent you made sure I watched you wave goodbye to me and you yelled at me after I talk to you this is so unproffesional and I will not stop until I speak to the owner Goodyear corprute is doing a current investigation into the situation you everything you say in your letter is a lie to cover yourself this is unexpectable Regards, [redacted]

To Whom it May Concern:This is in reference to the above named complaintI'd first like to address Mr ***'s reference to the "employee with a gun." One of our sales people legally carries a firearm. The bank next to us has been involved in 1-armed robberies per year for many years now
Other out lying businesses in our shopping center have also been robbed at gunpoint this yearHe carries a firearm for protection and never removed it from the holster while trying to deal with Mr ***We have the entire incident on video and there were two other customers who witnessed Mr *** become very rude and belligerent with one of our female sales peopleMr *** cursed at her and tried to take his keys without paying for his tiresThat is when the other sales person stepped in because he was concerned for the female sales persons safety and didn't want Mr *** to leave with tires before payingIf Mr *** is so concerned about how women are treated here, he should start by correcting his own behaviorThe male sales person also called the police regarding Mr ***'s behavior and the police didn't find anything wrong with the sales person having a legal firearm on his person. Now, on to the issue of pricingWe are very sorry for the confusionWe were trying to work with Mr *** on pricing with an online sales program that we are new to usingWe called our district area manager and a company owned Goodyear store miles away to help us because Mr *** said he received a quote of $with taxGoodyear had a cyber Monday deal which offered $instant rebate when tires were purchased online and then installed at a preferred Goodyear locationThe tire pricing online is higher than in store and we were able to match the online price minus the $instant rebateWe were under the impression that the cyber Monday deal also included the Black Friday promotion of free tire installationThis is what we were trying to match for Mr *** and that would have allowed us to get pricing to $plus tax. After getting the right information from the company store, we learned that the customer could either get the $instant savings online or get free installation in the store. Customers were not able to receive both deals as Mr *** had explained to our service managerOur service manager called Mr *** to explain this and Mr *** said he would discuss pricing at pick up since he was almost back to our store to get his carBy not getting the installation for free, Mr ***'s total was actually $with taxWhen our sales person tried to explain that we were able to do the $instant rebate but not the free installation, he exploded on her and started cursingAgain, we are sorry for not understanding the online promotions but it didn't require such a hostile response from Mr ***. In the end, we decided it was best to put Mr ***'s old tires back on his car so he could buy tires elsewhere. Thank you, Jennifer S*Manager, Boy-Rad Inc

This is in response to complaint ID *** Mr *** came to our facility for a tire repair on 11/3/at 12:pmHe was carrying a loose tire and gave no indication that his car was here He was told there was a car ahead of him and he said okay and left us with the loose tire
repair While he was out of the building, our technician found the leak in his tire and repaired it while waiting for oil to drain on the car he was already servicingWhen Mr *** came back into the building, one of the sales assistants asked him if the car was here and took his keyHe asked how long it would be and she said it would be minutes once his car was in the building The technician finished the car ahead of Mr *** tire repair and pulled his car into the bay to install the repaired tire on his car Everything seemed fine until Mr *** complained about how long it was taking and that the technician was just standing around talking instead of working on his carI tried to explain that the technician was working on his car and had just finished with the car ahead of him He argued and again said that the technician was just standing around talkingI walked out to the service department to check on his car and found that the technician was recording air pressure and tread depths on the back of Mr *** repair orderI informed the technician that he needed to hurry up because the customer felt he was taking too long When I walked back into the showroom of the store, Mr *** asked me if I had a problem I said I didI tried to explain to him that he was being unreasonable because my technician had been working on another car and his tire simultaneouslyHe kept cutting me off and saying that he was told minutes, which was not true, and that he saw my technician just standing around After repeatedly trying to explain things to Mr *** and even asking him to stop interrupting so I could speak, I asked him to pay his bill and leave He asked to speak to my boss who was sitting in his office and I said that my boss didn't care to speak to him He said he was going to complain to corporate Goodyear and I said go ahead Mr *** created his own problem by not listening to the sales assistant who told him minutes once his car was in the building and continuing to interrupt me while I was trying to explain to him what was going on with his repairI am sorry he felt disrespected, but respect is a two way street and you must give it to get it No one will be fired over this incident and no refund with be issued. Thank you, Jennifer S*** Store Manager

To Whom it May Concern: This is in response to the above mentioned complaintI would like to address Mr ***'s remark about our business not having the option to refuse to serve certain customers. The Civil Rights Act of prohibits public accommodations from refusing service to customers because of skin color, race, religion, sex, nationality, or any physical conditions a customer can’t preventWe did not refuse Mr *** as a customer for any of those reasonsWe refused him as a customer because of his behavior which was threatening and inappropriateHe cursed at a female salesperson and attempted to leave without payingThose are the reasons we feel it is best to NOT do business with Mr *** and we certainly have the right to make that choice. Now regarding the warranty on repairs done at this and all other Goodyear Tire & Service Network dealersThe warranty on a brake service that didn't require caliper replacement is months or 24,miles, whichever comes firstThis warranty is good to the original purchaser, it is non-transferable and must be accompanied by the original receipt. The warranty is good nationwide at more than locations. Mr *** has his choice of other Goodyear stores in the central Ohio area that will honor his warrantyWe will not be refunding any money as his warranty is still in effect through the nationwide warranty program.Thank you,Jen ***, Boy-Rad IncGoodyear Tire & Service Network

Myself and the Company do not see eye to eye on how a customer should be treated once an agreed price for work is doneMy old tires were put back on, I had to wait roughly another 30-minutes which I wasn't happy about but at the end of the day I was able to drive away with my vehicle in the same condition as how it came in and we parted ways. The "Salesman with a gun" told the police after talking to Lance B*** (Owner) that they refuse me as a customer and refuse to do business with me in the futureAs a company they do have that option to refuse customersBUT, this is now a problem for meI purchased my Mercury Milan in October of A week after purchase the brakes stated making a horrible shaking across the front of the vehicleI spoke to the previous owner and he told me that the vehicle had this issue before and he had it repaired at this Goodyear location (I want to say he came here either or times for this issue)I brought the vehicle in to Goodyear after talking to the old ownerMike told me that since the vehicle was sold that the 30,warranty was voided, but again he would take care of me and would put on new brakes and they would have a 30,mile warranty for myself as the new ownerI moved forward with this purchase for the brakes with the 30,warrantySince the brakes were installed I have currently driven approximately 12,miles, and have 18,miles still under warrantyI purchased brakes with warranty and now that I am being refused as a customer this tells me that the location will not honor the warrantyFor this reason I am asking for 50% of the price of the brakes with warranty to be refunded and if any issues occur I will happily take my vehicle to another locationAs a customer I feel 50% refund is a fair refund for myself, and for the company who no longer accepts me as a customer. 10/GOODYEAR TIRE CENTER DUBLIN OH 321.39If the company agrees to a $refund to my Visa I would agree to close this case, I would move forward positive, and the company would move forward positiveSimple as that

To Whom It May Concern:We reached out to Mr [redacted] and he agreed to bring the vehicle in for inspection of the tires and to discuss his issues.  He gave us a date and window of time (morning) that he would be in but never showed up or called.  Considering that Mr [redacted] didn't show up, we...

are considering this issue closed.Thank you,Jen Summerville

Revdex.com, this Business should easily have an F rating!!!!! No customer should ever have to deal with these people!JEN IS A LIAR!So I tried to leave without paying? That is a Lie!!! 1. Please describe how I tried to leave without paying? I walked in prepared to sign for the payment of $650 for the tires and the service and you tried to screw me! 2. I was paying through Goodyear Credit card which I was approved for $1800 which would of covered the entire service, so how would I be able to leave without paying when we already had me approved to pay w credit?  But, you probably don't remember that just like you do not remember telling Mike to leave me a voicemail for $650 walking out the door. Then you tell your front desk girl to screw me over and overcharge me. When Mike called me and let me know my vehicle was ready I told Mike I would be there in 5 minutes and he said to talk to you and that you were at the front desk. When I got there where where you? You ran away and tried your common practices of changing the price and disappearing. NOT COOL!So you are admitting that you will not cover the warranty? Well now I want a full refund. You can hold your ground and say no again, and we will continue this!
