Boyer Refrigeration Heating & A/C Inc

Review: An employee of Boyer Refrigeration stole prescription drugs and possible other things while in my home. I reported the theft to the owner of the company the day the employee was in my home. The employee was sent for a drug test that day. Three days later the test was reported to Boyer Refrigeration and the employee tested positive for the drug. The employee quit before the test results came back. I spoke with the owner of the company several times. He asked me if there was any way that they could make this situation better for me. All I asked was that the work that had been done in my home to be checked that it was done correctly. The owner told me he would send someone to check out the work. It has 6 or 7 weeks and they have not come to check out anything. I reported this to my local police and they informed me that Boyer Refrigeration does not do background checks because if they did they would have never hired the guy that was in my house. The owner of Boyer Refrigeration told me he does not do drug tests of his employees. He said he would start drug testing after this was reported.Desired Settlement: Refund for duct cleaning services because I am not sure that it was done correctly because Boyer Refrigeration's employee was high while doing this service.

We recently had a service call on our AC unit performed by Boyer Refrigeration. They installed the unit 5 years ago. Because we could not immediately provide the ten year warranty to them we were charged for diagnostic, trip charge and parts. The bill was paid in full and our service man was very helpful and kind. When we got the warranty submitted to Boyer, they changed our bill. The parts were covered and we should have been refunded $105.90 plus tax. The bill now changed to include labor for 2.38 hours. This included drive time to our home. Scott Boyer refunded us $33.04 which was the new price for the covered part. It went from $105 to $33! When I called to discuss the new bill, Mr. Boyer was very condescending to me. He started his explanation with "first of all..." In a degrading tone. I am not unintelligent and didn't appreciate his sexist tone. I simply told him to have a nice day and proceeded to hang up the phone, not lowering myself to his manner. He is a poor businessman who will take advantage of you. I would never recommend doing business with Boyer Refrigeration again.
