time of sale made clear our intent to disclose as-is no warranty stated or implied. We sold the vehicle at your requested price, which was discounted from our asking price. It was our recommendation that you take the vehicle to a reputable mechanic to have it inspected before taking delivery. Boyer Ford Trucks does not warranty as-is vehicles, it is our goodwill discretion to help in situations like this. We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Please know it is never our practice to deceive a customer that is the purpose of having full disclosure in writing. When you visited our dealership multiple times, we knew you were interested in the BMW after spending quite a bit of time looking it over. At this point, we offered you the option to take the vehicle to a mechanic before purchasing. We understood when you decided not to pursue this option. When you had called your sales person 10 days later to inform him of of a mechanical issue with the vehicle in question, he gave me the information to review. After reviewing the paperwork, it was clear that the vehicle was sold without any warranty disclosed. Boyer Ford Trucks does not warranty as-is vehicles, it is our good will discretion to help in situations like this. We would be willing to help by offering a $200.00 credit towards your repair. We feel strongly about having the best customer satisfaction and using this opportunity to show that. Please let us know where you would like the check to be mailed.
