Enclose are the correspondence between our customer, *** sales representative, and *** resolution specialistThe series of events went as follows,I gave the customer a price for the generators that he requested via e-mail on 9/25/14(See attached)The generator that he ordered was
delivered on 10/20/Upon delivery, he ask what wait motor oil | installed in the generatorstated I installed the oil that came packaged with the generator from ***, Later he expressed discrepancies in the manual from ***I forward the letter of complaint immediately to our *** representative, so he could forward to the portable generator division (see attached)I felt they were the best source to answer the customer's questionsI emailed the customer back on 12/12/and he responded on 12/16/Enclosed are the correspondence with the customerI never heard back from the customer after the Resolution Specialist responded to the customer on 12/19/(see attached)I figure the matter was resolved.Boyland Electric order the generator the customer requested and deliver it in a timely fashionAny complaints the customer has with the writing of the manual or the quality of the generator is between the customer and ***Boyland Electric did everything possible to resolve his issues and fee; this complaint in unjustified.Best Regards,Boyland Electric Inc

We installed the Customer's Generator on September 23, 2016. Our Final Electrical Inspection was performed and passed on September 27, 2016. We contracted a Sub-Contractor to do the Gas Work for the Generator.In reference to the failed Gas Inspections, we apologize on behalf of Boyland
Electric and the Sub-Contractor. When the customer called to report this matter, we immediately turned the situation over to the Sub-Contractor. Unfortunately, they did not respond to the matter as which it should have been handled. As soon as we knew that the situation was not being addressed, we sent our Technician out to take care of the matter.We had the Final Gas Inspection completed and passed on Thursday, March 9, 2016. To alleviate any issue at the time of the Inspection, we also had one of our Technicians on the jobsite

I am rejecting this response because:I asked for help from a technician, which Boyland should be able to provide because it is a [redacted] dealer.  I tried to get the information from [redacted] but they told me to go to one of their dealers.  I also asked whether Boyland would provide warranty service, since they sold me the unit and are a dealer.  The response to my request did not address this matter.

Boyland Electric has serviced my emergency generator for the past 10 plus years. Their technicians have maintained the generator such that I have never had a problem with it; and I live in an area of frequent power outages. The technicians arrive, do their work, leave and we rarely know they are there! It is a wonderful service, well-worth the price we pay for it.

This company charged us $225 to drive 5 minutes to our house from their store to diagnosis in under 10 minutes that we needed to call our electric company to resolve the issues we were experiencing.
My husband went into the store before scheduling the service call to explain the electrical issues we were experiencing and the service representative he spoke to should have suggested we call our electric company first. Working with this company was a complete rip-off, we will never call them again and would never recommend their services.
