Time it has taken to get the broken piece for my 6 month old washing machine
New washer & dryer delivered Apr. 27/18.Price paid $1276.89. Washer wouldn't Work so called Boys Appliance where machine was purchased. Repair technician came Oct.27. Model # ***, Serial # XXXXXXC. I stopped into Boys Fri., Nov.16 and still no part is in. I have called *** Customer Service X-XXX-XXX-XXXX and Customer Relations X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. A person named *** was to return my call and as of 2:00pm today that has not happened. I have asked for a new machine - refused. I asked for a piece be taken from one of their machine in stock - refused. I am thoroughly discussed with the process of almost 4 weeks to get anything done
I would like a new washing machine as I feel this is a piece of junk.
As of Nov 22 the customer has been contacted by the manufacturer of the washing machine (who sets warranty and replacement policy) and been advised that the manufacturer will be shipping a replacement machine to them to replace the defective model.
We have contacted the customer to verify that the manufacturer did rechristen out to them regarding the replacement and they did confirm that a replacement is being shipped to them.
As stated above the manufacturer sets warranty and replacement policy and we have to abide by their rules as we have a signed service contract with them. This is a rare and unfortunate circumstance but we can only do what the manufacturer allows us to do under their warranty.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
*** has promised delivery of a new washing machine either Wed., Nov 28 or Fri. Nov.30. Hopefully *** will follow through with this. Thank you for your help
