I have not received any phone calls or messages from Mr. [redacted].  Our Body Shop Manager, determined there was a possibility our car wash may have caused scratching on the bumpers, and we would take care of that for the customer,  Our Body Shop Manager did not feel the other scratches on...

Review: I recently had my 2012 ford powerstroke serviced at Bozeman Ford on the week of may 19 2015 .. bozeman ford had put my truck through the car wash with mud and sand on it without actually washing it off before they let their noodles and brushes rub and bounce all over it . I work in excavation "reason for mud and sand" so its kinda hard to keep a perfectly clean vehicle all of the time and may I add that its almost brand new with only 20,000 miles and I have never washed it because of the rainy weather and being out of town. When I had confronted one of the many employees he had laughed and said "no way our car wash did this" and pretty much told me I was a liar and full of [redacted] I asked to talk to somebody else. I then finally got another person out from behind his computer, and he then said that the car wash probably caused the scratches on the bumpers. He then promised to take care of those . This was my second visit first for a service and now for a mandatory ford recall.... This is the day I confronted not 1 but 4 different associates about the issue, getting nothing resolved. At the end of the day I got a call to come get my truck after the recall was done. I showed up and still nothing had been resolved about my truck full of scratches or the bumpers they were taking responsibility for, which should be the whole truck. I tried contacting a regional service manager on at least 15-20 different occasions. I have also left messages nearly every time, now it is over a month later still not a single call. So [redacted] you Bozeman Ford and your sy service and resolution skills. This could have been resolved a lot easier if you just confessed. Also one of your employees told me how u have had complaints about this same matter because you take no pride in your work to pull out a hose or pressure washer and wash the [redacted] off first.Desired Settlement: A check or resolution to a business of my desire. From a business other than Bozeman Ford.

Review: My husband and I live in MN. Our daughter is attending college in Bozeman. We bought an old Ford pick-up for her, and we asked Bozeman Ford to change the oil in the truck and do a full inspection, which included inspection and greasing of u-joints. We paid the full amount for the oil change and the greasing. My husband drove the truck from Manhattan to Bozeman, and he noticed no vibrations. My husband used to be a mechanic, and he knows. Last week, our daughter called us to let us know that the truck had a vibration. My husband asked her to have someone look to see if the u-joints had been greased. She send us a photo showing that the u-joints had not been greased. We called Bozeman Ford on Monday, and we got hung-up on. Then they called us back and said to speak with the service manager, Lyn Rogers, who wanted to see the truck and the photos. Today, my daughter went to Ford, and she was blown-off by Ford employees. She then spoke with [redacted], and she sent me her phone number. I called Ms. [redacted] who told me that it was not their fault that the u-joint failed. I told her that we paid for a service that did not get done. She refused to bring the truck in to fix the u-joint that failed because the work had not been done.Desired Settlement: I want Bozeman Ford to make right what they did. They need to take responsibility for their actions, and bring the truck in to have the u-joint fixed. Due to their failure to do the job, now we have to take the truck somewhere else to get the u-joint fixed. If the mechanic would have greased the u-joint as asked, we would not have to do the costly repair. They need to fix the truck.

Response:

Mrs. [redacted]'s daughter brought in pictures of her U-Joint. I had a technician look at her pictures. From the pictures there was a possibility that the U-Joint may not have been lubed, but it was not conclusive. My service manager and our technician both agreed that even if it was not lubed, one missed lube would not cause the U-Joint to fail. My service manager opted not to participate in any further repair.

Took our truck in for repair. On vacation from out of town and 6 hours from home. They seemed to have not replaced with proper parts that we paid for and the truck broke down 2 more times within a couple miles of the place because they could not find the right clamps to keep the hoses on. It broke down again and hour later and it was towed to another shop and they said the parts that they supposedly repaired and flushed were filthy with oil and did not look like it was flushed, which they charged us for. We have been trying to resolve this since August, and now in November even after they have promised to call "this week" for months now, we have not been contacted. Taking the truck to our mechanic, he said someone also broke a temperature sensor. At first they were all very nice and helpful, but boy if you have a problem, watch out. They apparently do not stand behind their work.

terrible, it appears my vehicle was damaged and parts removed while in their care.
they refused to acknowledge any responcibility.
As I am not from the Bozeman area, I have little recourse.
I am left with the cost of additional repairs and the hope that the repairs they did do were correct.
